Access
2► Press it again to unlock the other doors.
Complete or selective unlocking, and alarm
deactivation (depending on version), is confirmed
by the flashing of the direction indicators.
Depending on version, the door mirrors unfold.
Opening the windows
Depending on version, holding the
unlocking button pressed for more than 3
seconds opens the windows.
The windows stop when the button is released.
With the key
Driver's door
► T urn the key in the driver's door lock towards
the front of the vehicle to unlock it.
If the vehicle has an alarm, it will not be
deactivated. Opening a door will trigger the
alarm, which can be stopped by pressing the
remote control unlocking button.
Tailgate (depending on version)
►

T
urn the dedicated key in the tailgate lock to
the left to unlock.
Locking the vehicle
With the remote control
► Press this button to lock the vehicle.
Locking and alarm activation is confirmed by the
lighting of the direction indicators.
Depending on version, the door mirrors fold.
An improperly closed door prevents the vehicle from locking.
If the vehicle is unlocked but the doors
are not subsequently opened, the vehicle
will automatically lock itself again after
approximately 30
seconds.
The vehicle can be locked with the bonnet
open or released.
Closing the windows
Holding the locking button pressed for
more than 3 seconds closes the windows.
When closing windows, ensure that no
person or object could prevent their
correct closure.
With the key
Driver's door
► T urn the key in the driver's door lock towards
the rear of the vehicle to lock it.
Check that the doors are properly closed.
Tailgate (depending on version)
►

T

urn the dedicated key in the tailgate lock to
the right to lock it.
Locating the vehicle
Helps you to locate your vehicle from a distance,
with the vehicle locked:
– The direction indicators flash for approximately
10 seconds.
–

The sidelamps and dipped beam headlamps
come on for 30 seconds.
► Press this button.
Remote audible signal
Used to locate the vehicle when it is not visible.
Also used to dissuade anyone who wants to
enter the vehicle or damage it.
► Press this button twice consecutively
to activate the horn twice.
Advice
Remote control
The remote control is a sensitive, high-
frequency device; avoid handling it in your
pocket, due to the risk of unintentionally
unlocking the vehicle.
Avoid pressing the remote control buttons
while out of range of the vehicle, due to
the risk of rendering the remote control
inoperative. It would then be necessary to
reset it.
The remote control does not work
when the
key is in the ignition switch, even when the

From inside
► Pull the interior opening control of a door; this
unlocks the vehicle completely .
With selective unlocking activated:
– Opening the driver's door unlocks
the driver's door only (if the vehicle has not
already been completely unlocked).
–

Opening one of the passenger doors
unlocks the rest of the vehicle.
Closing
If a door is not properly closed, a message is
displayed on the instrument panel if the engine
is running, accompanied by an audible signal
when the vehicle is travelling at more than 12
mph (20
km/h).
Tailgate
Safety recommendations

Never drive with the tailgate down.
Ensure that there are no people or
obstacles present (on the ground and higher
up) when unloading.
Never place your hands near the bracket
when handling the tailgate, there is a risk of
trapping your fingers.
The loading bay tailgate is heavy, open it
carefully.
Observe the payload indicated on the
manufacturer's label present on the vehicle.
Regularly check that the suspensions are in
good condition and that the tyres are inflated
to the recommended pressure.
Spread the load evenly in the loading bay.
Opening to 90°

► Depending on version, unlock the tailgate
with the dedicated key .
►

Pull the opening handle then lower the
tailgate, supporting it until it is held in place by
the retaining brackets.
The maximum load on the tailgate is 100 kg. A heavier load could damage the
brackets.
Opening to 180°

Depending on version, it is possible to increase
the opening angle to around 180°.
►

After opening the tailgate, raise the tailgate
slightly by pulling the brackets in the opposite
direction of operation.
►


When the position is obtained, remove the
brackets from their shaft on both sides of the
tailgate.
Closing
► Raise the tailgate until the locks latch into

Access
2Depending on version, if the brackets
have been detached, be sure to reinstall
them before closing the tailgate again.
Check that the 2 locks are correctly locked by
pulling the tailgate on each side.
Alarm
(Depending on version)
System which protects and provides a deterrent
against theft and break-ins.
Exterior perimeter monitoring
The system checks for opening of the vehicle.
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries to open a
door or the bonnet, for example.
Work on the alarm system
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Locking the vehicle with
alarm system
Activation
► Switch off the ignition and exit the vehicle.
► Lock the vehicle using the remote control or
with the Keyless Entry and Start system.
When the monitoring system is active,
this indicator lamp flashes once per
second on the instrument panel and the direction
indicators flash for about 2 seconds.
The exterior perimeter monitoring is activated
after 5 seconds.
If an opening (door or bonnet) is not
closed correctly, exterior perimeter
monitoring cannot be activated.
Deactivation
► Press the remote control unlocking
button.
or
►

Unlock the vehicle with the Keyless Entry and
Start system.
The monitoring system is deactivated: the
indicator lamp on the instrument panel goes off
and the direction indicators flash for about 2
seconds.
If the vehicle automatically locks itself
again (as happens if a door is not
opened within 30 seconds of unlocking), the
monitoring system is automatically
reactivated.
Triggering of the alarm
This is indicated by sounding of the siren
and flashing of the direction indicators for 25
seconds.
The flashing of the direction indicators and of
the alarm warning lamp on the instrument panel
indicate that the alarm was triggered during your
absence. When the vehicle is unlocked using the remote control or the Keyless Entry and Start
system, the direction indicators and the warning
lamp on the instrument panel
stop flashing.
Failure of the remote control
To deactivate the monitoring functions:
►
Unlock the vehicle using the key in the
driver's door lock.
►

Open the door; the alarm is triggered.
►


Switch on the ignition and start the engine;
this stops the alarm.

The indicator lamp on the
instrument panel goes off.
Locking the vehicle without
activating the alarm
► Lock the vehicle using the key (built-in the
remote control) in the driver's door lock.
Malfunction
When the ignition is switched on, fixed
illumination of the indicator lamp on the
instrument panel indicates a system malfunction.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Automatic activation
(Depending on version)
The system is activated automatically 2 minutes
after the last door is closed.

All of the guiding lines 1 (in red, yellow and
green) represent the width of the vehicle, with
the mirrors unfolded; they are oriented according
to the position of the steering wheel and
represent the turning circle of your vehicle.
From the rear bumper, the small red lines 2
represent a distance of 1 m, the small yellow
lines 3
represent 2 m, and the small green lines
4
represent 3 m.
It is possible to deactivate the display of the
guiding lines on the image at any time.
The display of the guiding lines is configured in the Settings menu of the
Reversing camera function.
They are represented as lines marked
"on the ground" and do not indicate the
position of the vehicle in relation to tall
obstacles (e.g. other vehicles).
Some distortion of the image is normal.
Opening the tailgate may disturb the
display.
When starting the vehicle, the graphic
and audible aids are only available after
the touch screen has started up.
"Off-Road" camera
For more information, refer to the
General recommendations on the use
of driving and manoeuvring aids .


With the ignition on, the camera located at the
bottom of the right-hand door mirror displays the
view from the front right-hand side of the vehicle
on the touch screen in order to improve visibility
during a manoeuvre.
This view is not recommended for carrying out a
complete manoeuvre.
The front and rear parking sensors also provide
information on the vehicle's surroundings.




► Press this button to activate/deactivate the
function, with the ignition on and at a speed
below approximately 17 mph (27
km/h).


The view of the front right-hand side of the
vehicle is displayed.
The view is automatically displayed:
–

when the right-hand direction indicator is
selected;
–


if an obstacle is detected by the parking
sensors on the front right-hand side.
At any time, depending on version, it is possible
to switch to rear view by selecting the rear

6The configuration of the automatic function via detection by the parking
sensors or via the direction indicators is done
using the Settings menu in the Off-Road
camera system, on the left of the touch screen.
The function will be deactivated:
– Above about 19 mph (30 km/h).
–

when the right-hand direction indicator is
stopped;
–


by pressing the function activation button
again;
–


Without any action from the driver for
approximately 1 minute.
–


By pressing the "
Switch off" button in the
upper-left corner of the touch screen.
Opening the front right-hand door and
folding the mirror may disturb the display.
When starting the vehicle, the graphic
and audible aids are only available after
the touch screen has started up.
360° camera
For more information, refer to the

The vehicle has several cameras:

At the front, fitted in the grille.
–

At the rear
, near the tailgate opening control.

Under each door mirror

With the engine running, these cameras allow
views of the vehicle’s close surroundings to be
displayed on the touch screen:
–

V
iews from the rear (rear vision), with reverse
gear engaged.
–

V
iews of the front (forward vision), with the
gearbox in neutral or a gear engaged.
–

Side views (door mirror vision), with the
direction indicators activated or obstacle
detection.




The screen is divided into 2 parts: on the
left, a view from above the vehicle in its close
surroundings; on the right, a contextual view as
well as a 3-dimensional view representing the
vehicle’s close surroundings.
A dynamic projection of the vehicle trajectory
(vehicle outline and position of the wheels) is
displayed on the front and rear contextual views
and the view from above.
The parking sensors supplement the information
on the view from above the vehicle.
Different contextual views can be displayed in
the left-hand part:

– 3-dimensional view.
When the cameras are activated, a
symbol appears at the top of the
contextual view to indicate their positions on
the vehicle and the displayed area.
Opening the front doors or the tailgate, or
folding the mirrors may disturb the
display.
By default, 2D views mode is activated.
In this mode, the system chooses the best view
to display (standard or zoom) according to the
information transmitted by the parking sensors.
You can change the display mode at any time
during the manoeuvre:
–

"2D views",
–

"3D views".
Operating principle

Using the front and rear cameras as well as the
mirror cameras, the vehicle’s close surroundings
are recorded during low speed manoeuvres.
An image from above your vehicle in its close
surroundings is reconstructed in real time and as
the manoeuvre progresses.
It facilitates the alignment of your vehicle when
parking and allows obstacles close to the vehicle
to be seen. It is automatically deleted if the
vehicle remains stationary for too long.
When starting the vehicle, the graphic
and audible aids are only available after
the touch screen has started up.
Activation
Automatic activation (speed below 17 mph
(27 km/h)):
–

when reverse gear is engaged.
–


when the direction indicators are activated
(depending on configuration).
–


when an obstacle is detected.



► To manually activate the function, with the
engine running, press this button.


At any time, it is possible to choose (on the left-
hand side of the touch screen) the display mode
by pressing the " 2D views" or "3D views" button
and modify the parameters by pressing the
"Settings" button.
The display is immediately updated with the
selected view mode.


You can switch to panoramic view for 2D mode
by pressing on the main view or on the symbol at
the top of the main view (the view from above on
the left will disappear).
Press again on the main view or on the symbol
to return to the current display.
Settings
For each mode (2D or 3D), it is possible to
deactivate/activate the following functions:

In the event of a breakdown
► Open the tailgate.

► Unscrew the 2 fixing screws located on the
pillar .
►

Hold the lamp and unclip it by pulling
outwards then turn it over carefully

.


► Turn the bulb holder a quarter turn
anti-clockwise.
► Remove the bulb holder and replace the
bulb by pulling or pressing then turning the bulb
(depending on the bulb type).
Fuses
Changing a fuse
All work must be carried out only by a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop
The replacement of a fuse by a third party
could cause a serious malfunction of the
vehicle.
Installing electrical accessories
The vehicle's electrical system is
designed to operate with standard or optional
equipment.
Before fitting other electrical equipment
or accessories to your vehicle, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
PEUGEOT accepts no responsibility for
the cost incurred in repairing the vehicle
or for rectifying malfunctions resulting from
the installation of accessories not supplied or
not recommended by PEUGEOT and not
installed in accordance with its
recommendations, in particular when the
combined power consumption of all of the
additional equipment connected exceeds 10
milliamperes.
12 V battery
Procedure for starting the engine using another
battery or for charging a discharged battery.
Lead-acid starter batteries
These batteries contain harmful substances (sulphuric acid and lead).
They must be disposed of in accordance
with regulations and must never under any
circumstances be discarded with household
waste.
Dispose of used batteries at a designated
collection point.
Protect your eyes and face before
handling the battery.
All operations on the battery must be carried
out in a well ventilated area and away from
naked flames and sources of sparks, to avoid
any risk of explosion or fire.
Wash your hands afterwards.
Frozen battery
Never try to charge a frozen battery - risk
of explosion!
If the battery has frozen, have it checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer or by a qualified workshop,
who will verify that the internal components
have not been damaged and that the case
has not cracked, which could lead to a risk of
