button can be used to change
the audio source when the audio screen
is displayed. The

STARTUP DISPLAY
When the ignition switch is placed in the
ON position, the vehicle information dis-
play may display the following screens if
the vehicle is equipped with them:

. Audio
. CRUISE
. Driving Aids
. TPMS
. Speed Limit Sign
Warnings will only display if there are any
present. (See “Operational indicators” (P.2-
30).) To control what items display in the

The setting mode allows user to change
the information displayed in the vehicle
information display and some settings:

Driver Assistance
To change the status, warnings or turn on
or off any of the systems/warnings dis-
played in the “Driver Assistance” menu,
use the

. Cross Traffic Alert
. Driver Attention Alert .
Timer Alert
. Low Temp. Alert
Emergency Brake:
. Front
Allows user to turn the Automatic
Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedes-
trian detection system and Intelligent
Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW) sys-
tem ON/OFF.
. Rear
Allows user to turn the Rear Auto-
matic Braking (RAB) system ON/OFF.

Lane:
. Warning(LDW)
Allows user to turn the Lane Depar-
ture Warning (LDW) system ON/OFF.

Allows user to turn the Intelligent Lane
Intervention (I-LI) system ON/OFF.

Unit/Language
The units that are shown in the vehicle
information display can be changed:

Use the

The unit for the mileage that is shown in
the vehicle information display can be
changed.

display can be changed. Use the

guage of the vehicle information display.
Factory Reset
The settings in the vehicle information
display can be reset back to the factory
default. To reset the vehicle information
display:
1. Select “Factory Reset” using the
buttonsand press the OKbutton.
2. Select “Yes” to return all settings back to default by pushing the OK
button.

How to make settings of Intelligent Rear
View Mirror:
You can choose display settings of the
Intelligent Rear View Mirror such as
brightness, camera angle, textual indica-
tion ON or OFF and language.
When the Intelligent Rear View Mirror
mode is on, setting menu can be selected
by pushing the MENU button
. Each time
the MENU buttonis pushed, the setting
menu will change as follows:

The mirror is designed so that it auto-
matically changes reflection according to
the intensity of the headlights of the
following vehicle. You can enable or
disable the automatic anti-glare mode.
.Push the left button
to enable the
automatic anti-glare mode.
. Push the right button
to disable the
automatic anti-glare mode.

LANGUAGE
The language of the textual indication
can be selected on the Intelligent Rear
View Mirror display screen.
Select the language by using the
orbutton. You can select English, French or
Spanish. The language setting will be
retained even if the engine is restarted.
Intelligent Rear View Mirror system
precautions:
NOTE:
. Long-term use of this system in
stopping engine may cause battery
to be discharged. .
Do not attach an antenna of wireless
device near the Intelligent Rear View
Mirror. Electric wave from wireless
device may cause disturbed image
in Intelligent Rear View Mirror.
. Do not push buttons excessively or
operating the lever roughly may
cause a system failure or the Intelli-
gent Rear View Mirror itself to drop.
. Never turn the body of Intelligent
Rear View Mirror by 90° or more. It
may damage the Intelligent Rear
View Mirror.
. Do not apply strong shocks to the
body of Intelligent Rear View Mirror.
It may cause a system failure.
. Do not apply heavy load to the
camera and camera-cover on the
rear of the vehicle. It may cause the
camera to be removed or may cause
a system failure.
. If it is difficult to see the Intelligent
Rear View Mirror display screen be-
cause of a strong external light,
switch the mode to the conventional
rearview mirror mode for better use.
. Close the sunshade (if so equipped)
when the Intelligent Rear View Mir-
ror display screen is unclear due to
strong external light.
4. After selecting a content source, navi-gate through the folders, and select
the desired file to stream to the
monitor. Once the file is selected, it
will begin streaming to the monitor
that was selected in step 2 above.
5. Playback controls are available from the Now Playing screen in the UPnP
application and from the monitor.
Press
to display the playback
controls on the monitor.
NOTE:
. Content protected with DRM (Digital
Rights Management) cannot be
streamed using the SmartStream
feature.
. A wired connection (HDMI or MHL) is
required to stream protected con-
tent from a mobile device to the RSI
system. For additional information,

SETTINGS
The following settings can be accessed
from the main menu:
Wi-Fi
Change the SSID (network name), change
the password of the network, and toggle
between Client Mode or Access Point.
Read Back
A text-to-speech aid that enables the
system to read text items displayed on
the screen. This feature guides the user
through operating the RSI system.
Display
Adjust Brightness, Contrast, and Sharp-
ness settings. Audio
Select the monitor to use for Bluetooth®
audio streaming and set the maximum
volume level when using wired head-
phones.
Advanced
Change the language of the GUI (Graphic
User Interface), reset the RSI system, and
update the software.
Customize
Change the background image of the
home screen using content from an SD
card or USB storage device.
Bluetooth
Control Bluetooth® audio streaming (On/
Off) and select from the available list of
paired devices.

Advanced settings
Language
The system language used for the GUI
(Graphic User Interface) can be changed
to any of the following languages English,
Spanish, French, Arabic, Simplified Chi-
nese, Traditional Chinese, and Hebrew.
To change the language, highlight and
select the current language and a drop-
down list will appear containing the
available languages. Choose the desired
language and select "Save" to display the
confirmation dialog box. Select "Yes" to
confirm and reboot the RSI system.Reset
A master reset will return the RSI system
settings to the factory defaults. Any user
options and customization will be lost
and reset back to factory default settings.
To reset the system, select "Yes" when
the dialog confirmation box appears.
Update
Displays the current software version
information. Select "Update" to begin a
software update (reserved for future use).
