Audio
In the Audio menu browse for
music, select from the
favorites, or change the audio
source. Use
yorzto change
the station or go to the next
or previous track.
Navigation
If there is an active route,
press SEL to cancel or resume
route guidance, or turn the
voice prompts on or off.
Phone
In the Phone menu, if there is
no active phone call, view
recent calls, or scroll through contacts. If there is an active
call, mute the phone or switch
to handset operation.
Night Vision
If equipped, Provides an
infrared night vision image of
the area beyond the
headlamps that highlights and
provides alerts to detected
pedestrians or large animals.

Options
Use
yorzto scroll through
items in the Options menu.
Units : Choose US or metric
units by pressing SEL while
the desired item is highlighted.
Info Page Options : Press
SEL to select the items to be
displayed in the Info app. See
Driver Information Center
(DIC) 0139.
Display : Press SEL to enter
the Display menu. Select to
turn on or off the speedometer, time, fuel range,
or, if equipped, compass or
speed sign.
Speed Warning :
The Speed
Warning display allows the
driver to set a warning at a
speed that they do not want
to exceed. To set the Speed
Warning press SEL when
Speed Warning is displayed.
Use the
yorzto adjust the
value and press SEL to set the
speed.
Once the speed is set, this
feature can be turned off by
pressing the SEL while
viewing this page. If the
selected speed limit is
exceeded, a pop-up warning is
displayed with a chime.
Head-Up Display (HUD)
(Uplevel) : If equipped, this
feature allows for adjusting
the angle of the HUD image
and changing or turning off
the Speed Limit Sign.

HUD Display on theWindshield
The HUD may display some of
the following vehicle
information and vehicle
messages or alerts:
.Speed
.Tachometer
.Audio
.Phone
.Navigation
.Collision Alert
.Adaptive Cruise Control and
set speed
.Lane Departure
.Low Fuel
Some vehicle messages or
alerts displayed in the HUD
may be cleared by using the
steering wheel controls. See
Vehicle Messages 0146.
Some information shown may
not be available on your
vehicle if it is not equipped
with these features.
The HUD control is to the left
of the steering wheel.
To adjust the HUD image: 1. Adjust the driver seat.
2. Start the engine.
3. Use the following settings to adjust the HUD.
$:Press or lift to center the
HUD image. The HUD image
can only be adjusted up and
down, not side to side.
!: Press to select the
display view. Each press will
change the display view.
D: Lift and hold to brighten
the display. Press and hold to
dim the display. Continue to
hold to turn the display off.
The HUD image will
automatically dim and brighten
to compensate for outside
lighting. The HUD brightness
control can also be adjusted
as needed.
The HUD image can
temporarily light up depending
on the angle and position of
sunlight on the HUD display.
This is normal.
Polarized sunglasses could
make the HUD image harder
to see.

Head-Up Display (HUD)
Rotation Option
This feature allows for
adjusting the angle of the HUD
image.
Press SEL on the steering
wheel controls while Head-Up
Display Rotation is highlighted
to enter Adjust Mode. Press
y
orzto adjust the angle of the
HUD display. Press
SorTto
highlight OK, then press SEL
to save the setting. CANCEL
can also be selected to cancel
the setting. The vehicle must
be in P (Park). See Instrument
Cluster 0122.
HUD Views
There are four views in the
HUD. Some vehicle information
and vehicle messages or alerts
may be displayed in any view.
Metric
English
Speed View : This displays
digital speed in English or
metric units, speed limit,
vehicle ahead indicator, Lane
Departure Warning/Lane Keep
Assist, and Adaptive Cruise
Control and set speed. Some
information only appears on
vehicles that have these
features, and when they are
active.
Metric
English
Audio/Phone View : This
displays digital speed,
indicators from speed view
along with audio/phone
information. The current radio
station, media type, and
incoming calls will be
displayed.
All HUD views may briefly
display audio information
when the driver uses the
steering wheel controls to

adjust the audio settings
appearing in the instrument
cluster.
Incoming phone calls
appearing in the instrument
cluster may also display in any
HUD view.

Navigation information in
some vehicles. The compass heading is displayed when
navigation routing is not
active.
Navigation Turn-by-Turn
Alerts shown in the instrument
cluster may also be displayed
in any HUD view.

Performance View : This
displays digital speed,
indicators from speed view
along with rpm reading, transmission positions, and
gear shift indicator (if
equipped).
Care of the HUD
Clean the inside of the
windshield to remove any dirt
or film that could reduce the
sharpness or clarity of the
HUD image.
Clean the HUD lens with a soft
cloth sprayed with glass
cleaner. Wipe the lens gently,
then dry it.
HUD Troubleshooting
If you cannot see the HUD
image when the ignition is on,
check that:
.Nothing is covering the
HUD lens.
.The HUD brightness setting
is not too dim or too bright.
.The HUD is adjusted to the
proper height.
.Polarized sunglasses are
not worn.
.The windshield and HUD lens
are clean.

become familiar with the
features.
{Warning
Taking your eyes off the
road for too long or too
often while using any
infotainment feature can
cause a crash. You or others
could be injured or killed. Do
not give extended attention
to infotainment tasks while
driving. Limit your glances at
the vehicle displays and
focus your attention on
driving. Use voice commands
whenever possible.
The infotainment system has
built-in features intended to
help avoid distraction by
disabling some features when
driving. These features may
gray out when they are
unavailable. Many infotainment

features are also available
through the instrument cluster
and steering wheel controls.
Before driving:
.Become familiar with the
operation, center stack
controls, steering wheel
controls, and infotainment
display.
.Set up the audio by
presetting favorite stations,
setting the tone, and
adjusting the speakers.
.Set up phone numbers in
advance so they can be
called easily by pressing a
single control or by using a
single voice command.

Active Noise
Cancellation (ANC)
If equipped, ANC reduces
engine noise in the vehicle’s
interior. ANC requires the
factory-installed audio system,
radio, speakers, amplifier (if
equipped), induction system,
and exhaust system to work properly. Deactivation is
required by your dealer if
related aftermarket equipment
is installed.
Overview
Infotainment System
The infotainment system is
controlled by using the
infotainment display, controls
on the center console,
steering wheel controls, and
voice recognition.

power on.
.Press to mute/unmute
the system when on.
.Press and hold to
display the power off
screen or the option to
display the power off
screen.

list on the instrument cluster.
SEL : Press to select a
highlighted menu item.
x+ orx− :Press to increase or
decrease the volume.
CorB: Press to go to the
next or previous favorite when
listening to the radio. Press to go to the next or previous
track when listening to a
media source.
Using the System
Audio
Touch the Audio icon to
display the active audio source
page. Examples of available
sources may include AM, FM,
SXM (if equipped), MyMedia,
USB, and Bluetooth.
Phone
Touch the Phone icon to
display the Phone main page.

If equipped, touch the Nav

display the Climate main page.

Users
If equipped, touch the Users
icon to sign in or create a new
user profile, and follow the
on-screen instructions.
Only four user profiles can be
active at one time in the
vehicle. It may be necessary to
remove a profile from the
menu before creating or
signing into an existing profile.
The removed profile can be
logged into at a later time.
