Child seats can be classified as “univ
ersal”,
“semi-universal” “or vehicle-specific” (all in
accordance with regulation ECE R 44) or “i-
Size” (in accordance with regulation ECE
R 129).

must be secured with an upper strap (
top
tether) in addition to the ISOFIX anchor
points.
Only secure the strap to the top tether an-
chor rings provided for this purpose. Anchor
rings for use with the top tether are marked
by a symbol and sometimes also with “TOP
TETHER”.
