switch operation, vehicle condition, etc.
QWhen starting the hybrid system
When the hybrid system starts,
an opening animation is dis-
played on the 2 displays.
After the animation ends, the
screens switch to the normal
screen.
The opening animation will be
stopped in any of the following
situations.
• When the shift position is changed to other than P
• When the Simple Intelligent Parking Assist System (if equipped) is
turned on

*1: These lights turn on when the power switch is turned to ON mode to indi-
cate that a system check is being performed. They will turn off after the
hybrid system is on, or after a few seconds. There may be a mal function in
a system if a light does not come on, or turn off. Have the veh icle
inspected by any authorized Toyota retailer or Toyota authorize d repairer,
or any reliable repairer.
*2: The light flashes to indicate that the system is operating.
*3: The light comes on when the system is turned off.
*4: Depending on the operating condition, the color and illuminati ng/flashing
state of the light change.
