6. Place the ignition switch in the ONposition. Then turn the compressor
switch to the ON (−) position and
inflate the tire up to the pressure that
is specified on the tire placard affixed
to the driver’s side center pillar if
possible, or to the minimum of 26 psi
(180 kPa). Turn the air compressor off
briefly in order to check the tire
pressure with the pressure gauge.
If the tire is inflated to higher than the
specified pressure, adjust the tire
pressure by releasing air with the
pressure release valve. The cold tire
pressures are shown on the tire pla-
card affixed to the driver’s side center
pillar.

If the tire pressure is 19 psi (130 kPa) or
more but less than the specified pres-
sure:
Turn the compressor switch to the ON (−)
position and inflate the tire up to the
specified pressure. Then repeat the steps
from 8.
If the pressure drops again, the tire
cannot be repaired with this tire punc-
ture repair kit. It is recommended that
contact a NISSAN dealer.
When the tire pressure is the specified
pressure:
The temporary repair is completed.
It is recommended that visit a NISSAN

If your vehicle is overheating (indicated by
an extremely high temperature gauge
reading), or if you feel a lack of engine
power, detect abnormal noise, etc., take
the following steps:
1. Move the vehicle safely off the roadand apply the parking brake.
2. Continuously Variable Transmission
(CVT) models:
Move the shift lever to the P (Park)
position.
Manual Transmission (MT) models:
Move the shift lever to the N (Neutral)

Do not stop the engine.
3. Turn off the air conditioner (if so equipped). Open all the windows,
move the heater or air conditioner
temperature control to maximum hot
and fan control to high speed.
4. Get out of the vehicle. Look and listen for steam or coolant escaping from
the radiator before opening the hood.
(If steam or coolant is escaping, turn
off the engine.) Do not open the hood
