WARNING
ARNING Risk of burns due torepeatedly
switching on the seat heating
Re peatedly switching on the seat heating can
cause the seat cushion and seat backrest pad-
ding tobecome very hot.
In particular, the health of persons with limited
te mp erature sensitivity or a limited ability to
re act tohigh temp eratures may be a.ected or
th ey may even su.er burn-like injuries. #
Do not repeatedly switch on the seat
heating. To
protect against overheating, the seat heating
may be temp orarily deactivated aTer it has been
switched on repeatedl y.
% This function is only available for plug-in
hy brids or vehicles with a 48-V on-board elec-
trical system.
The air inside theve hicle can be heated, ventila-
te d or cooled tothe set temp erature when the
ve hicle is par ked.
When theve hicle is connected topowe r supply
equipment, priority is given tocharging the 48 V
battery or the high-voltage battery toa speci/ed
minimum charge.
The running time of pre-entry climate control may
be reduced under thefo llowing conditions (vehi-
cles with a 48 V on-board electrical system):
R The vehicle is not connected topowe r supply
equipment.
R The 48 V battery is not fully charge d. Wi
th active pre-ent ryclimate cont rol,th ech arge
le ve l of the 48 V battery or the high-voltage bat-
te ry may be reduced, even if thech arging cable
connector is connected.
If present, seat ventilation is activated in cooling
and ventilation mode.
Depending on theve hicle's equipment, thefo llo w-
ing functions are activated in heating mode, if
av ailable:
R Seat heating
R Steering wheel heater
R Panel heating
R Mirror heater
R Rear wind owheater
R Windsc reen heater
When the set temp erature is changed, climate
cont rol mode will automatically be updated and
switched from heating mode toventilation or cool-
ing mode, from cooling mode toventilation or
heating mode or from ventilation mode toheating

R The front camera is switched on.
Until no w,toset the outside mirror the desired
mir ror had tobe selected using a preselection
button in the driver's door.
Wi th th e MBUX Interior Assistant, the mir rorto be
set is preselected automatically bythe natural
mo vement of your head tothe leT or right. When
th e hand touches the button for adjusting the out-
side mir ror,th e LED under the button of the pre-
selected mirror side lights up.
Use the button toset the position of the active
outside mir ror.
% Preselection of the outside mir ror using but-
