Switching the seat heating
on/oM&
WARNING Risk of bur ns due to repeatedly
switching on the seat heating
Repeatedly switching on the seat heating can
cause t
he seat cushion and seat backrest pad-
ding to become very hot.
In particular, the health of persons with limited
temperature sensitivity or a limited ability to
react to high temperatures may be aMected or
they may even suMer burn-like injuries. 
Do not repeatedly switch on the seat
heating. To protect against overheating, the seat heating
ma

y be temporarily deactivated aser it has been
switched on repeatedly.

Press button 1 r epeatedly until the desired
heating level is set.
Depending on the heating level, up to three
indicator lamps will light up. If all indicator
lamps are oM, the seat heating is switched oM.

ests, the door centre panel and the centre con-
sole can be heated. 
Switch the function for the desired seats on or

Press button 1 r epeatedly until the desired
ventilation level is set.
Depending on the ventilation level, up to three
indicator lamps will light up. If all indicator
lamps are oM, the seat ventilation is switched

tored and called up using the memory function.
You can save settings for the following systems:

Set the desired position for all systems. 
BrieOy press the V memory button and
then press preset position button 7, T
or U within three seconds.
An acoustic signal sounds. The settings are
stored. 
To call up: pr
ess and brieOy hold preset posi-
tion button 7, T or U.
Aser releasing the button, all systems are

You can save the following settings for the rear
seat
:
= Position of the seat, backrest and head

= Seat heating: distribution of the heated sec-
tions of the seat cushion and seat backrest
Operating the front passenger seat and rear seat
Seat adjustments for the front passenger seat and
the rear seat can be stored and called up using
the rear seat memory function.
You can save the following settings for the front
passenger seat:
= Position of the seat, backrest and head
restraint
You can save the following settings for the rear
seat:
= Position of the seat, backrest and head
restraint
= Seat heating: distribution of the heated sec-

ear seat is selected if the indicator lamp
in the button does not light up. 
Adjust the rear seat using the buttons in the
door contr
ol panel ( page 114).

The settings for the rear seat are stored in the
corresponding preset position.
