The responsibility for safe manoeuvring and par k-
ing remains with you. Inter rupt or term inate the

limit during the manoeuvring or parking proce-
dure, the procedure will be cancelled:

If th e parking manoeuvre is cancelled, a cor re-
sponding message is displa yed on the mobile
phone.
Depending on the situation, you can then take
cont rol of the procedure, manoeuvre theve hicle
back tothe starting position or manually take con-
trol of theve hicle.
The system limits of Active Parking Assist apply
(/ page 275).
Cer tain environmental conditions, suc has snowfall
or heavy rain, may lead toa parking space being
measured inaccurately or toconnection problems
with the mobile phone. Only use Remo teParking
Assist on le vel, high-g rip gr ound. During
the parking procedure, you should not
stand more than appr ox. 3.0 m away from the
ve hicle. Atgre ater dis tances, the procedure will
be inter rupted and a cor responding message will
be displ ayed on the mobile phone. If you mo ve
closer totheve hicle, you will be able tocontinue
th e procedure.
