Power Windows, Window Lock & Central Door Lock
A Pull/Press to operate Driver ’s and Passenger ’s Windows Auto-Up/Down*
B Press to Unlock/Lock All Doors
C Press to disable Rear Passenger Windows / activate Electronic Child Safety Lock System
REMINDERS:
• When C is pressed, window controls for the Rear Passenger Windows are disabled
•When closing, be mindful of any objects or persons
Power Folding Outside Mirrors *
Press the L or R buttons D to select the mirror to adjust.
Press button arrows E left/right or up/down to adjust mirror position.
Toggle button F left/right to unfold/fold the outside rearview mirrors.
Toggle button F to center to automatically fold/unfold mirrors when:
•The Smart Key Lock/Unlock buttons are pressed
•The door outside handle button is pressed
But ton configuration may var y depending on vehicle model.

•While driving with the rear windows down or with the sunroof* in an open or par tially open position, a wind buffeting or pulsation noise may be heard. This noise is a normal occurrence and can be reduced or eliminated by the following:
-If the noise occurs with one or both of the rear windows down, par tially lower both front windows approximately 1 inch
-If the noise occurs with the sunroof open, slightly reduce the size of the sunroof opening
QUICK TIPS •The mirrors will automatically unfold when the Smar t Key is within close proximit y to the vehicle
•To automatically fold mirrors when exiting vehicle, press the LOCK but ton once on the Smar t Key

REMINDER: To lock position of mirrors, toggle switch to the neutral (center) position.
Power/Heated Outside Mirrors
Mirror heaters controlled with Rear Defroster. Use mirror to defog/deice side mirrors.
Move toggle switch D left or right to select mirror. Then press arrows E left/right or up/down to adjust mirror position.
Automatic Door Lock/Unlock
Auto Door Lock/Unlock will engage when the gear shift is moved into or out of the P (Park) position. Refer to the User Settings in the LCD Instrument Cluster modes on how to turn Auto Door Lock/Unlock ON/OFF.
Electronic Child Safety Lock System*
Press button C to lock the rear passenger doors. An indicator will illuminate showing the system is active.
This system is on by default, and then activated once the button C is pressed. To deactivate, press the button again.
Press but ton again to stop Auto-Up/Down function.

•If the Smar t Key bat ter y is weak or not working properly, hold the Smar t Key fob up to the Engine Star t/Stop but ton (Lock but ton side closest) and press to star t engine
•The Smar t Key ’s signal can be blocked by the normal operation of a cell phone or smar tphone. To help prevent this, store each device separately

Mechanical Key: Use to unlock/lock Driver ’s Door:
1. Pull out door handle

Remove door handle keyhole cover with Mechanical Key by pressing up into slot as shown I
3.
Insert Mechanical Key J and turn right to Unlock Driver ’s Door
4. Turn twice within 4 seconds to Unlock All Doors
5. Insert Mechanical Key and turn left to Lock All Doors
6. Return keyhole cover to its original position
Note: Use to unlock trunk, lock glove box* and to turn Child Protector Rear-Door Locks.
REMINDER: When reinser ting the mechanical key, ensure it is pushed all the way in until you hear a click.
REMINDER: Remote button configuration may var y depending on vehicle options

Passenger Airbag Off Indicator†2
ODS is designed to detect the presence and position of the front passenger and adjusts or turns off airbag deployment accordingly.
Depending on the situation and type of accident, the system may:
•Deploy the airbag (Adult)
•Not deploy the airbag (Unoccupied)
If the system determines that the airbag should not be deployed, the “PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF” light will illuminate.

To properly fasten your safety belts:
1.
Insert the belt tongue plate A into the buckle B until it clicks
2.
Position the lap portion of the belt across your lap as LOW ON THE HIPS as possible C. Adjust the belt to a SNUG FIT by pulling up on the shoulder portion D
Seat Belt Retractor Locks †1 6
Retractor locks allow lap/shoulder safety belts to remain unlocked during normal vehicle operation for freedom of movement and increased comfort.
During a STRONG STOP, SUDDEN TURN OR CERTAIN COLLISIONS, seat belt retractors will automatically lock the belts to help reduce the risk of injury.

REMINDER: For maximum protection, always wear your Seat Belt.
REMINDER: Do not allow an adult passenger to ride in the front seat when the Passenger Airbag Indicator is illuminated OFF because the airbag will not deploy in the event of a crash. The driver must instruct the passenger to reposition her/himself in the seat.

Child-Protector Rear Door Locks (Manual)*
Locate these locks on the rear edge of the rear passenger doors. Turn the Child-Protector Rear Door Lock to the LOCK position to disable the inner door handles from opening the rear doors.
REMINDER: Child-Protector Rear Door Locks are located on rear passenger ’s door jamb.
