Seat
climate
control
Concept
The
seat
climate
control
combines
the
functions
of
the
seat
heating
and
active
seat
ventilation.
General
information The
seat
heating
and
active
seat
ventilation
are
operated
with
a
common
button
on
the
climate control
panel.
When
both
systems
are
active,
a
push
of
the
but#j
ton
reduces
the
intensity
of
both
functions
by one
level
each.
The
last
active
function
or
function
that
is
config#j ured
with
higher
intensity
will
be
activated
di#j
rectly
when
the
system
is
switched
on
again. When
both
functions
with
the
same
intensityconfiguration
are
deactivated,
the
system
will
au#j
tomatically
activate
the
seat
heating.

rules
Concept
Depending
on
the
equipment,
some
heating
and
cooling
functions
can
be
automatically
activated
depending
on
the
outside
temperature.
General
information The
outside
temperature
at
which
the
functions
are
to
be
automatically
activated
can
be
set
via
iDrive.
Activation
is
performed
if
the
outside
tempera#j
ture
exceeds
or
falls
below
the
set
temperature in
the
first
few
minutes
after
drive-ready
state
has
been
switched
on.
A
new
alignment
is
car#j
ried
out
after
the
settings
have
been
changed.
Depending
on
the
equipment
package,
the
fol#j
lowing
functions
can
be
automatically
activated:

trip
is
continued

and
size

installing

Seat
position
and
height After
installing
a

move
the
front
passenger
seat
as
far
back
as
it
will
go
and, if
possible,
bring
it
up

highest
position.
This
seat
position
and
height
ensure
the
best possible
position
for
the
belt
and
offers
optimalprotection
in
the
event
of
an
accident.
If
the
upper
anchor
of
the
safety
belt
is
located
in
front
of
the
belt
guide
of
the
child
seat,
move
the
front
passenger
seat
carefully
forward
until
the
best
possible
belt
guide
position
is
reached.
Backrest
width Adjustable

before
installing

seat, open

width
completely.
