alarm
system
reacts
to
the
following

the

or
when

alarm
system
signals

visually and
acoustically:

Depending

local
regulations,

acoustic alarm

be

hazard
warning
system
and
headlights,
where
required.
Do
not
modify
the
system
to
ensure
function

alarm

Switching
on/off
The
alarm
system
is
switched
on
or
off
as
soon as
the
vehicle
is
locked
with
the
vehicle
key
or
unlocked
or
locked
via
Comfort
Access.
Opening
the
doors
with
the
alarm
system
switched
on
The
alarm
system
is
triggered
when
a
door
is opened
if
the
door
was
unlocked
using
the
integrated
key
in
the
door
lock.
Opening
the
trunk
lid
with
the
alarm
system
switched
on
The
trunk
lid
can
be
opened
even
when
thealarm
system
is
switched
on.
After
the
trunk
lid
is
closed,
it
is
locked
and
moni#j
tored
again
provided
the
doors
are
locked.
The
hazard
warning
system
flashes
once.
Panic
mode You
can
trigger
the
alarm
system
if
you
find
your#j
self
in
a
dangerous
situation.'xPress
the
button
on
the
vehicle
key
and
hold
for
at
least
3
seconds.'xBriefly
press

switched

tilt
alarm
sensor

the
button
on
the
vehicle
key
within
10
seconds

soon
as
the
vehicle
is
locked.
The
indicator
light
lights
up
for

onds
and
then
continues
to
flash.
The
tilt
alarm
sensor
and

switched
off
until
the

locked
