NOTICE
■When using the memory function
●The memory function is a function which provides assistance in park-
ing in a previously registered park- ing space. If the condition of the road surface, vehicle, or surround-
ing area differs from when registra- tion was performed, the parking space may not be able to be
detected correctly or assistance may not be provided to the point that the vehicle is fully parked.
●Do not register a parking space in situations such as the following, as
the set parking space may not be able to be registered or assistance may not be possible later.
• When a camera lens is dirty
• When it is raining or snowing
• During night (if the surrounding
area is not sufficiently illuminated)
●In situations such as the following, it
may not be possible to register a parking space.
• When there is a sidewalk in front of the parking space
• When there is insufficient space between the road and parking space
• When the road surface around the parking space does not have any
differences the Advanced Park can recognize
●If a parking space has been regis-tered in situations such as the fol-lowing, assistance may not be able
to started later or assistance to the registered position may not be pos-sible.
• When shadows are cast on the parking space (there is a carport
over the parking space, etc.)
• When there are leaves, garbage, or
other objects which will likely move, in the parking space

The multimedia system or Advanced
Park is being affected by radio waves or may be malfunctioning. If a radio antenna is installed near a camera,
move it to a location as far from the cameras as possible. If a radio antenna is not installed near a camera, and the
screen does not return to normal after turning the power switch off and then starting the hybrid system again, have
the vehicle inspected by any authorized Toyota retailer or Toyota authorized repairer, or any reliable repairer.

6-3. Do-it-yourself maintenance
Front
To equalize tire wear and help extend
tire life, Toyota recommends that tire
rotation is carried out approximately
every 10000 km (6000 miles).
When rotating front and rear tires which
have different tire inflation pressures,
do not fail to initialize the tire pressure
warning system after tire rotation.
Your vehicle is equipped with a tire
pressure warning system that uses
tire pressure warning valves and
transmitters to detect low tire infla-
tion pressure before serious prob-
lems arise.
The tire pressure warning system
of this vehicle adopts a 2-type
warning system.
When “Adjust Pressure” is dis-
played (Normal Warning)
A warning with the tire pressure warn-
ing light and warning buzzer when
there is an unknown level of low tire
pressure with the appearance of the tire
due to natural air leakage as well as the
pressure lowering due to changes in
the pressure according to the outside
temperature. (Ways of coping: P.447,
494)
When “Immediately Check tire
when Safe” is displayed (Emer-
gency Warning)
A warning with the tire pressure warn-
ing light and warning buzzer when
there is a known level of low tire pres-
sure with the appearance of the tire due
to pressure suddenly lowering. (Ways
of coping: P.452, 463)
However, the system may not be able
to detect sudden tire ruptures (bursting,
etc.).
The tire pressure detected by the
tire pressure warning system can
be displayed on the 9-inch display
multimedia system or multi-infor-
mation display.

■Note for checking the emergency
tire puncture repair kit
Check the sealant expiry date occasion- ally.
The expiry date is shown on the bottle. Do not use sealant whose expiry date has already passed. Otherwise, repairs
conducted using the emergency tire puncture repair kit may not be per-formed properly.
■Emergency tire puncture repair kit
●The emergency tire puncture repair kit is for filling the car tire with air.
●The sealant has a limited life span. The expiry date is marked on the bot-
tle. The sealant should be replaced before the expiry date. Contact any authorized Toyota retailer or Toyota
authorized repairer, or any reliable repairer for replacement.
●The sealant stored in the emergency tire puncture repair kit can be used only once to temporarily repair a sin-
gle tire. If the sealant has been used and needs to be replaced, purchase a new bottle at any authorized Toyota
retailer or Toyota authorized repairer, or any reliable repairer. The compres-sor is reusable.
●The sealant can be used when the outside temperature is from -30°C (-
22°F) to 60°C (140°F).
●The kit is exclusively designed for size
and type of tires originally installed on yo u r ve hi cl e . Do n ot u se it f o r ti r e s t ha t a different size than the original ones,
or for any other purposes.
●If the sealant gets on your clothes, it may stain.
●If the sealant adheres to a wheel or the surface of the vehicle body, the
stain may not be removable if it is not cleaned at once. Immediately wipe away the sealant with a wet cloth.
●During operation of the repair kit, a loud operation noise is produced. This
does not indicate a malfunction.
●Do not use to check or to adjust the
tire pressure.
WARNING
■Caution while driving
●Store the repair kit in the luggage
compartment. Injuries may result in the event of an accident or sudden braking.
●The repair kit is exclusively only for your vehicle.
Do not use repair kit on other vehi- cles, which could lead to an acci-dent causing death or serious
injury.
●Do not use repair kit for tires that
are different size than the original ones, or for any other purpose. If the tires have not been completely
repaired, it could lead to an acci- dent causing death or serious injury.
■Precautions for use of the seal-ant
●Ingesting the sealant is hazardous to your health. If you ingest sealant, consume as much water as possi-
ble, and then immediately consult a doctor.
●If sealant gets in eyes or adheres to skin, immediately wash it off with water. If discomfort persists, consult
a doctor.
