vidual components of this vehicle in quantities of

Mercedes-Benz AGcannot, despite carefully de vel-
oping vehicle systems, comple tely rule out the
interaction of vehicle systems with elect ronic med-
ical aids such as ca rdiac pacemake rs.
In addition, there are components built into the
ve hicle that, rega rdless of the operating status of
yo ur vehicle, can generate magnetic /elds on a par
with permanent magnets. These /elds can be
fo und, forex ample, in the area around the multi-
media and sound system or also in the seating
area, depending on theve hicle equipment.
Fo rth is reason, thefo llowing can occur in isolated
cases, depending on the aids used:
R medical aids malfunctioning
R adverse health e.ects
Obser vethe no tes and warnings of the manufac-
turer of the medical aids; if in doubt, contact the
device manufacturer and/or your doctor. If there is
continuing uncer tainty concerning the possibility
of medical aids malfunctioning, Mercedes-Benz AGre
commends using only fewelectrical vehicle sys-
te ms and/or maintaining a distance from the com-
ponents.

The entire base of thech ild restraint system
must al ways rest on the sitting sur face of the
co-driver seat. #
Always make sure that the shoulder belt strap
is cor rectly routed from the seat belt outlet of
th eve hicle tothe shoulder belt guide on the
ch ild restraint system.
The shoulder belt strap must be routed for-
wa rds and down wards from the seat belt out-
let. #
