windscreen is being cleaned
If th e windscreen wipers are set in motion
while you are cleaning the windscreen or
wiper blades, you can be trapped bythe wiper
arm. #
Always switch o. the windscreen wipers
and theve hicle before cleaning the wind-
screen or wiper blades. &

and tailpipe trims
The exhaust tailpipe and tailpipe trims can
become very hot. If you come into contact
with these parts of theve hicle, you could burn

Always be particular lycareful around the
ta ilpipe and theta ilpipe trims and super-
vise children especially closely in this
area. #
Allow vehicle parts tocool down before
to uching them. To

R Use water and acid-free alloy wheel cleaners.
R Do not use acidic alloy wheel cleaners to
re mo vebrake dust. This could damage wheel
bolts and brake components.
R Toavo id cor rosion of the brake disks and
brakepads, drive theve hicle for a few minu tes
aTer cleaning before parking it. The brake
disks and brakepads warm up and dry out.

R Clean the windo wsinside and outside with a
damp clo thand with a cleaning agent recom-
mended for Mercedes-Benz.

R Never place your hands or feet under theve hi-
cle.
R Never lie under theve hicle.
R Do not start theve hicle and do not release the
electric parking brake.
R Do not open or close any doors or theta ilgate. #
Using the wheel wrench, loosen the wheel
bolts on the wheel you wish tochange by
about one full turn. Do not unscr ewthe

If yo u do not position the jack cor rectly at the
appropriate jacking point of theve hicle, the

Only position the jack at the appropriate
jacking point of theve hicle. The base of

under the jacking point of theve hicle. *

TE Vehicle damage from the jack If
yo u do not position the jack cor rectly at the

The jack is designed exclusively for jac k-
ing up theve hicle at the jack support

Take thera tchet ring spanner out of the tyre-
ch ange tool kit and place it on the he xagon
nut of the jack so that the letters "AUF" are
