In0ate the collapsible spare wheel using
th e tyre in0ation compressor before lo w-
ering theve hicle. *

Do not runth e tyre in0ation compressor
fo r longer than ten minutes without inter-
ru ption. #
Pull connector 4and the hose out of the
housing. #
Unscr ewthe cap from theva lve on the col-
lapsible spare wheel. #
Screw union nut 1ofthe hose onto the
va lve. #
Make sure on and o. switch 3ofthe tyre
in0ation compressor is set to 00. #
Insert connector 4into the cigar ette lighter
soc ket or into a 12 V soc ket (/ page 152) in
yo ur vehicle. #
Switch on the po wer supply (/ page 190). #
Press on and o. switch 3onthe tyre in0a-
tion compressor to II.
The tyre in0a tion compressor is switched on.
The tyre is in0ated. The tyre pressure is shown
on manom eter 2. #
Pump the tyre tothe speci/ed tyre pressure.
% The speci/ed tyre pressure is printed on the
ye llow label of the collapsible spare wheel. #
When the speci/ed tyre pressure has been
re ached, press on and o. switch 3onthe
tyre in0ation compressor to 00. #
Ifth e tyre pressure is higher than the speci/ed
pressure, press pressure release valve button
5 until the cor rect tyre pressure has been
