adjust the driver's seat, head restraint,

If yo u ha veactivated the function in the multime-
dia system (/ page 228),the image from the
re ve rsing camera is displa yed in the media display
when reve rsege ar is selected. Dynamic guide
lines show the path theve hicle will take with the
cur rent steering angle. This helps youto orient
yo urself and toavo id obstacles when reve rsing.
The reve rsing camera is only an aid. It is not a
substitute foryo ur attention tothe surroundings.
The responsibility for safe manoeuvring and par k-
ing remains with you. Make sure that there are no
persons, animals or objects etc., in the manoeu-
vring area while manoeuvring and parking.
% You can open the co ver of there ve rsing cam-
era manually (/ page 228). The guide lines in
the media display show the dis-
ta nces toyour vehicle. The dis tances displa yed
only apply toroad le vel.

When transpo rting vehicles with adaptive
damping adjustment, theve hicle/trailer com-
bination may begin torock and start toskid. #

with suitable tensioning straps. #
Do not exceed the maximum permissible
