ch arging cable is reconnected, charging at the
mains soc ket is not possible. The charging cable
must be replaced or theve hicle plug must be

break and ATTENTION ASSIST continues todetect
increasing lapses in concentration, you will be
wa rned again aTer a minimum of 15 minutes. Yo

If AT TENTION ASSIST is unable tocalculate the
attention le vel and cannot issue a warning, the

If a warning is given in the Instrument Displa y,the

area. You can select a rest area and start naviga-
tion tothis rest area. This function can be acti va-
te d and deactivated in the multimedia system.
If AT TENTION ASSIST is deactivated, theÛ
symbol appears in the assistance graphic in the
Instrument Displ ay. ATer theve hicle is star ted,
AT TENTION ASSIST is automatically activated. The
last selected sensitivity le velre mains stored.

AT TENTION ASSIST is active in the 60 km/h to
200 km/h speed range. Pa

ASSIST only functions in a restric ted manner and

imately 30 minutes.
R Ifth ero ad condition is poor (une venro ad sur-

R Ifth ere is a strong side wind.
R Ifyo u adopt a sporty driving style (high corner-
ing speeds or high rates of acceleration).
R IfAc tive Steering Assist is activated and active

R Ifyo uch ange lanes and vary your speed fre-
qu ently in active driving situations.
The ATTENTION ASSIST dr owsiness or alertness
assessment is reset and restar ted when continu-

functions on your mobile phone via the multime-
dia system displa y.
Only one mobile phone at a time can be connec-
te d via Smartphone Integ ration tothe multimedia
system. Also for use with two phone mode with
smartphone integ ration, only one additional
mobile phone can be connec ted using Blue tooth ®
with the multimedia system.
The full range of functions for Smartphone Inte-
gr ation is only possible with an Internet connec-
tion. The appropriate application must be down-
loaded on the mobile phone touse Smartphone
Integ ration. The mobile phone must be switched
on and connec tedto a USB port with theç
symbol on the multimedia system using a suitable
cable.

When using Smartphone Integ ration, cer tain vehi-
cle data is transfer redto the mobile phone. This
enables youto get the best out of selected mobile
phone services. Vehicle data is not directly acces-
sible.
The following system information is transmitted:
R SoTware release of the multimedia system
R System ID (anonymised)
The transfer of this data is used tooptimise com-
munication between theve hicle and the mobile
phone. To
do this, and toassign se veralve hicles tothe
mobile phone, a vehicle identi/er is random lyge n-
erated.
This has no connection totheve hicle identi/ca-
tion number (VIN) and is dele ted when the multi-
media system is reset (/ page 301).
The following driving status data is transmitted:

R Distinction between par ked, standstill, rolling
and driving
R Day/night mode of the inst rument clus ter
R Drive type
