Lane Departure Warning (LDW) *†6
Lane Departure Warning system is designed to detect the lane markers
using a front view camera on the windshield and can warn the driver
when the vehicle starts departing from the lane
With the Engine Start /Stop button in the ON position, press the LDW
button
A to turn the system ON The instrument cluster indicator
will initially illuminate white It will remain white when the vehicle is
traveling slower than 40 mph and the system does not detect the lane
markers When the LDW system detects the lane markers, the LDW
icon will illuminate green
If LDW detects that you are moving outside of your lane, the system
may issue a warning on the LCD screen and an alert may sound
The system will operate under the following conditions:
• The vehicle speed exceeds approximately 40 mph
• The LDW system recognizes the lane the vehicle is traveling in
• The vehicle is between the lane markers
REMINDERS:
• LDW will not issue a warning if the turn signal or hazard signal is activated
• If the LDW system is set on or off and the ignition is cycled, the system returns
to its previous state
Refer to section 5 in the Owner’s Manual for more information. Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is
not a substitute for safe and proper
driving. Always drive safely and use
caution. LDW may not always alert
the driver if the vehicle is driven
outside of its lane.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) *†6
FCA is designed to help alert the driver and, under certain conditions, temporarily apply emergency braking when
rapidly approaching a vehicle that is slowing down, braking or stopped Initially, FCA provides Forward Collision
Warning (FCW ) when it detects a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian in front, emitting an audible
warning and visual alert on the instrument cluster
If the system detects that the collision risk has increased, FCA automatically applies the brakes to reduce your
speed, potentially helping to reduce the effects of a possible collision
To turn the FCA system on, go to User Settings > Driver Assistance > Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist The alert
settings (Early, Normal, Late) can also be adjusted in the User Settings
FCA / FCW will become active when the:
• Engine Start /Stop button is ON
• Vehicle is traveling faster than approximately 6 mph
• Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is ON
Manual Folding Mirrors *
To fold the mirrors in manually, pull the mirror
towards the window
REMINDERS:
• FCA / FCW will be activated by default when vehicle power is cycled on, even when previously set to off
• FCA / FCW will not operate when the vehicle is traveling faster than approximately 50 mph
• If FCA is operating and the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is tu rned off, the FCA system is automatically turned off
• When FCA is off, the FCA warning indicator is on in the Instrument Cluster
Refer to section 5 in the Owner’s Manual for more information. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
(FCA)* / Forward Collision Warning
(FCW)* are not substitutes for safe
and proper driving. Always drive
safely and use caution. FCA / FCW
may not always alert the driver
when the vehicle is approaching
another vehicle.
