6. Place one of the forward cargocover ends into the slot and then
compress to fit the other end into
the corresponding slot in the
opposite panel.
7. Pull the cargo cover to the rear of the vehicle.
8. Insert the two rearward ends intothe remaining slots on each side.
9. Attach the cargo cover hooks to thecargo tie-downs.
Removing the Cargo Cover 1. Disconnect the cargo cover hooks from the cargo tie-downs.2. Slide the rear crossbar releasebutton and allow the crossbar to
fold while lifting. Be sure to avoid
finger pinching points as the cover
folds.
3. Repeat for the front crossbar release.
4. Remove the cargo cover from the vehicle.
5. Fold the cargo cover completely and it roll tight.

6. Place the cargo cover in thestorage bag.
7. Lift the load floor.
8. Place the cargo cover in the storage bin.
9. After storing the cargo cover, make sure to properly secure the load
floor.
10. Remove the seat belt from the clips on both sides.
Cargo Tie-Downs
The vehicle has four cargo tie-downs
in the rear compartment.
Cargo Management
System
Caution
To avoid vehicle damage, do not
open the load floor more than
90 degrees.
Lift the load floor to access the cargo
management system storage area.

Cargo Management System Tray
Removal
To access the spare tire, the cargo
management system tray must be
removed.
Remove the cargo management
system tray (2) by pulling on the
handles (1).
Convenience Net
This vehicle may have a convenience
net in the rear of the vehicle. Attach it
to the cargo tie-downs for storing
small loads.
Do not use the net to store heavy
loads.
Roof Rack System{
Warning
If something is carried on top of the
vehicle that is longer or wider than
the roof rack —like paneling,
plywood, or a mattress —the wind
can catch it while the vehicle is
being driven. The item being carried
could be violently torn off, and this
could cause a collision and damage
the vehicle. Never carry something
longer or wider than the roof rack
on top of the vehicle unless using a
GM certified accessory carrier. If equipped, the roof rack can be used
to load items. For roof racks that do
not have crossrails included, GM
certified crossrails can be purchased
as an accessory. See your dealer.
Caution
Loading cargo on the roof rack that
weighs more than 100 kg (220 lb) or
hangs over the rear or sides of the
vehicle may damage the vehicle. Do
not load cargo exceeding 100 kg
(220 lbs) and always load cargo so
that it rests evenly between the
crossrails and does not block the
vehicle lamps or windows. Fasten
the cargo securely.

To prevent damage or loss of cargo
when driving, check to make sure
crossrails and cargo are securely
fastened. Loading cargo on the roof
rack will make the vehicle’s center of
gravity higher. Avoid high speeds,
sudden starts, sharp turns, sudden
braking, or abrupt maneuvers;
otherwise it may result in loss of
control. If driving for a long distance,on rough roads, or at high speeds,
occasionally stop the vehicle to make
sure the cargo remains in its place. Do
not exceed the maximum vehicle
capacity when loading the vehicle. For

Controls
Steering Wheel Adjustment
Manual Steering Wheel
To adjust the steering wheel,
if equipped: 1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel up or down.
3. Pull or push the steering wheel closer or away from you.
4. Pull the lever up to lock the steering wheel in place.
Do not adjust the steering wheel while
driving.
Power Tilt and Telescoping Steering Wheel
To adjust the steering wheel,
if equipped: 1. Press the control up or down to tilt the steering wheel up or down.
2. Press the control forward or rearward to move the steering
wheel closer or away from you.
Do not adjust the steering wheel while
driving.
Steering Wheel Controls
The infotainment system can be
operated by using the steering wheel
controls. See Steering Wheel Controls
0 149.
Heated Steering Wheel
(:If equipped, press to turn on or
off. A light near the button displays
when the feature is turned on.
The steering wheel takes about
three minutes to start heating.

Automatic Heated Steering Wheel
If equipped with remote start, the
heated steering wheel will turn on
automatically during a remote start
along with the heated seats when it is
cold outside. The heated steering
wheel indicator light may not
come on.
If equipped with auto heated seats,
the heated steering wheel will turn on
when the auto heated seat is
activated. The heated steering wheel
indicator will display the state of the
steering wheel heat.

Horn
Pressaon the steering wheel pad to
sound the horn.
Windshield Wiper/Washer
With the ignition on or in ACC/
ACCESSORY, move the windshield
wiper lever to select the wiper speed.
HI : Use for fast wipes.
LO : Use for slow wipes.
AUTO : If equipped with Rainsense,
use this setting for intermittent wipes
when Rainsense is disabled,
or Rainsense wipes when Rainsense is enabled. For intermittent wipes, move
the windshield wiper lever to AUTO,
then turn the band up for more
frequent wipes or down for less
frequent wipes. If Rainsense is turned
on, see
“Rainsense ”later in this
section.
OFF : Use to turn the wipers off.
1X : For a single wipe, briefly move
the wiper lever down. For several
wipes, hold the wiper lever down.
f: Pull the windshield wiper lever
toward you to spray windshield
washer fluid and activate the wipers.
The wipers will continue until the
lever is released or the maximum
wash time is reached. When the
windshield wiper lever is released,
additional wipes may occur depending
on how long the windshield washer
has been activated. See Washer Fluid
0 321 for information on filling the
windshield washer fluid reservoir.
Clear snow and ice from the wiper
blades and windshield before using
them. If frozen to the windshield,

carefully loosen or thaw them.
Damaged blades should be replaced.

{Warning
In freezing weather, do not use the
washer until the windshield is
warmed. Otherwise the washer fluid
can form ice on the windshield,
blocking your vision.
{Warning
Before driving the vehicle, always
clear snow and ice from the hood,
windshield, washer nozzles, roof,
and rear of the vehicle, including all
lamps and windows. Reduced
visibility from snow and ice buildup
could lead to a crash.
Wiper Parking
If the ignition is turned off while the
wipers are on LO, HI, or AUTO with
Rainsense turned off, they will
immediately stop. If the windshield wiper lever is then
moved to OFF before the driver door is
opened or within 10 minutes, the
wipers will restart and move to the
base of the windshield.
If the ignition is turned off while the
wipers are performing wipes due to
windshield washing or Rainsense, the
wipers continue to run until they
reach the base of the windshield.
Rainsense
If equipped with Rainsense and the
feature is turned on, a sensor near the
top center of the windshield detects
the amount of water on the
windshield and controls the frequency
of the windshield wiper based on the
current sensitivity setting.
Keep this area of the windshield clear
of debris to allow for best system
performance.
AUTO :
Move the windshield wiper
lever to AUTO. Turn the band on the
wiper lever to adjust the sensitivity.
.Turn the band up for more
sensitivity to moisture.
.Turn the band down for less
sensitivity to moisture.
.Move the windshield wiper lever out
of the AUTO position to deactivate
Rainsense.
To turn the Rainsense feature on or
off, see “Rain Sense Wipers ”under
Vehicle Personalization 0130.
Wiper Arm Assembly Protection
When using an automatic car wash,
move the windshield wiper lever to
OFF. This disables the automatic
Rainsense windshield wipers.
