position.

Jam
protection
system
Concept
The
jam
protection
prevents
objects
or
body
parts
from
becoming
jammed
between
the
roof and
glass
sunroof
while
the
glass
sunroof
is
clos#jing.
General
information
If
a
resistance
or
blockage
is
detected
while
the
glass
sunroof
is
closing,
the
closing
operation
is
interrupted
once
the
roof
reaches
the
half-open
position,
or
it
is
stopped
when
closing
from
the
tilted
position.
Closing
from
the
open
position
without
jam
protection
In
case
of
danger
from
the
outside
or
if
ice
might
prevent
normal
closing,
proceed
as
follows:1.Close
all
doors.2.Push
the
switch
forward
past
the
resistance point
and
hold.
The
glass
sunroof
closes
with
limited
jam
protection.
If
the
closing
force
exceeds
a
spe#j
cific
threshold,
closing
is
interrupted.3.Push
the
switch
forward
again
past
the
resist#j
ance
point
and
hold
until
the
glass
sunroof closes
without
jam
protection.
Make
sure
that
the
closing
area
is
clear.
Closing
from
the
lifted
position

jam
protection
In
case

danger
from

outside
or

ice

selected,

stored
