Drive Mode Integrated Control System (AWD)*
SMART, SPORT, COMFORT, ECO and SNOW drive modes
may be changed according to the driver’s preference or road
conditions. To change the drive mode, rotate the DRIVE MODE
knob A.
COMFORT Mode – The system’s default mode is COMFORT
mode and is not displayed on the instrument cluster nor the
audio system's screen.
ECO Mode – A green ECO indicator will illuminate on the
instrument cluster. To deactivate, rotate the DRIVE MODE
knob A again to select another setting.
SPORT Mode – A red SPORT indicator will illuminate on the
instrument cluster. To deactivate, rotate the DRIVE MODE
knob A again to select another setting.
SMART Mode – When SMART mode is activated, the
system automatically selects the drive mode best suited to
the current driving style. A SMART indicator will illuminate
on the instrument cluster. The color of the SMART indicator*
(green, white, red) depends on the current driving style. To
deactivate, rotate the DRIVE MODE knob A again to select
another setting.
SNOW Mode – SNOW mode is designed to distribute the
vehicle’s traction forces to help reduce or prevent wheel
slippage when driving on snowy or slippery roads. To
deactivate, rotate the DRIVE MODE knob A again to select
another setting.
Quick Tip
When the Engine Start/Stop button is cycled off then on again, the system defaults to Comfort mode from Sport mode. When in other modes, it returns to its previous setting.
REMINDERS:
§
When ECO mode is selected, the following may occur to help improve fuel economy:
– Acceleration may be slightly reduced even when the accelerator is fully depressed
– Air conditioner performance may be limited
– Shift pattern of the automatic transmission may change
– Engine noise may increase
§ System’s power will be limited when driving uphill
§ When SPORT mode is selected, fuel economy may decrease
§ Steering effort may be slightly increased in Sport mode

Wireless Smartphone Charging System*
Clock
Select SETUP key on audio control unit. Select
General, then scroll to and select DATE / TIME,
and adjust.
Refer to the Car Infotainment System User’s Manual for more information.
REMINDERS:
§ Daylight Saving must be enabled or disabled in the Clock Settings screen
§ To access manual date and time setting, turn GPS Time OFF in the Clock Settings (UVO link with Navigation*)
USB Ports, Power Outlets & USB Charger
Power Outlets A: Use the power outlets for mobile phones
and other devices designed to operate on a 12V (180W max)
power outlet
USB Port B: Use the USB port to connect USB audio devices
and smartphone devices
USB Charger C: Devices can be recharged using a USB
cable. The Engine Start /Stop button needs to be in the ACC/
ON/START position to operate the USB Charger

Kia recommends that you only use USB cables made by your device’s manufacturer. Third-party USB cables may cause damage to your device

The USB Port B in the center panel charges slower than the USB Chargers C throughout the vehicle
