Temperature WarningLight
This warning light illuminates:
When the engine coolant tempera- ture is above 120°C (248°F). This
means that the engine is overheat-
ed and may be damaged.
If your vehicle is overheated, refer

ton.

Immobilizer Indicator
Light (Without Smart Key)
This indicator light illuminates:
When the vehicle detects the immobilizer in your key properly
while the Engine Start/Stop button

- The indicator light goes off after starting the engine.
This indicator light blinks:
When there is a malfunction with the immobilizer system.
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized Kia
dealer.
Immobilizer Indicator
Light (With Smart Key)
This indicator light illuminates for up
to 30 seconds:
When the vehicle detects the smart key in the vehicle properly
while the Engine Start/Stop Button
is ACC or ON.
- At this time, you can start theengine.
- The indicator light goes off after starting the engine.
This indicator light blinks for a few
seconds:
When the smart key is not in the vehicle.
- At this time, you can not start theengine.

seconds and goes off:
When the vehicle cannot detect the
smart key which is in the vehicle
while the Engine Start/Stop Button
is ON.
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized Kia
dealer.
This indicator light blinks:
When the battery of the smart key is weak.
- At this time, you cannot start theengine. However, you can start the
engine if you press the Engine
Start/Stop Button with the smart
key. (For more details, refer to
“Starting the Engine” in chapter 5).
When there is a malfunction with the immobilizer system.

dealer.Turn Signal Indicator
Light
This indicator light blinks:
When you turn the turn signal light on.
If any of the following occurs, there
may be a malfunction with the turn
signal system. In this case, have your

Kia dealer. - The indicator light does not blinkbut illuminates.
- The indicator light blinks more rapidly.
- The indicator light does not illumi- nate at all.
High Beam Indicator
Light
This indicator light illuminates:
When the headlights are on and in the high beam position
When the turn signal lever is pulled into the Flash-to-Pass position.

The 360° camera monitoring system
is not a substitute for proper and safe
parking procedures. The 360° cam-
era monitoring system may not
detect every object surrounding the
vehicle. Always drive safely and use
caution when parking.
The 360° camera monitoring system
can assist in parking by allowing the
driver to see around the vehicle.
Push the button into the [ON] posi-
tion to operate the system.
To cancel the system, push the but-
ton again. Operating conditions
- When the Engine Start/Stop
Button is ON position
- When the transaxle is on D, N or R
- When the vehicle speed is not over 15 km/h (9 mph)
When the vehicle speed is over 15 km/h (9 mph), the 360° camera
monitoring system is turned off. If
the vehicle speed is not over 15
km/h (9 mph) after turning off the
360° camera monitoring system by
over speed, the 360° camera moni-
toring system is not turned on. To
operate again, push the button.
When the vehicle moves back- wards, regardless of On/Off of but-
ton and vehicle speed, the 360°
camera monitoring system is oper-
ated.
When the liftgate and driver/pas- senger door are opened and the
outside mirror is folded, the warn-
ing is illuminated in 360° camera
monitoring system. If the 360° camera monitoring sys-
tem is not operating normally, the
system should be checked by an
authorized Kia dealer.
When the vehicle moves over 15 km/h (9 mph) forward after moving
backward, the 360° camera monitor-
ing system screen will be turned off.

Auto control (if equipped)
The rain sensor (A) located on the
upper end of the windshield glass
senses the amount of rainfall and
controls the wiping cycle for the
proper interval. The more it rains, the
faster the wiper operates. When the
rain stops, the wipers stop.
To vary the speed setting, turn the
speed control knob (1).If the wiper switch is set in AUTO
mode when the engine start/stop but-
ton is in the ON position, the wiper will
operate once to perform a self-check
of the system. Set the wiper to OFF
position when the wiper is not in use.

When the engine start/stop but-
ton is in the ON position and thewindshield wiper switch isplaced in the AUTO mode, usecaution in the following situa-tions to avoid damaging the rainsensors on the windshield:
Do not touch the upper end of the windshield glass facing therain sensor.
Do not wipe the upper end of the windshield glass with adamp or wet cloth.
Do not put pressure on the windshield glass.

Front windshield washers
In the OFF position, pull the lever
gently toward you to spray washer
fluid on the windshield and to run the
wipers 1-3 cycles.
Use this function when the wind-
shield is dirty.
The spray and wiper operation will
continue until you release the lever.
If the washer does not work, check
the washer fluid level. If the fluid level
is not sufficient, you will need to add
appropriate non-abrasive windshield
washer fluid to the washer reservoir.

When starting the vehicle in winter, set the wiper switch inthe OFF position. Otherwise,wipers may operate and icemay damage the windshieldwiper blades. Always removeall snow and ice and defrostthe windshield properly priorto operating the windshieldwipers.
When tinting the windshield, be careful of any fluid gettinginto the sensor located in thetop center of the front wind-shield. It may damage therelated parts.CAUTION
When washing the vehicle, set the wiper switch in the OFFposition to stop the auto wiperoperation.
The wiper may operate and be damaged if the switch is set inthe AUTO mode while washingthe vehicle.
Do not remove the sensor cover located on the upperend of the passenger sidewindshield glass. Damage tosystem parts could occur andmay not be covered by yourvehicle warranty.

Plug in battery equipped electronicdevices with reverse current pro-
tection. The current from the bat-
tery may flow into the vehicle’s
electri cal/electronic system and
cause system malfunction.USB charger
The USB charger is designed to
recharge batteries of small size elec-
trical devices using a USB cable. The
electrical devices can be recharged
when the Engine Start/Stop button is
in ACC/ON/START position. The battery charging state may be
monitored on the electrical device.
Disconnect the USB cable from the
USB port after use.
Some devices are not supported
for fast charging but will be
charged with normal speed.
Use the USB charger when the engine is running to prevent bat-
tery discharge.
Only devices that fit the USB port can be used.
The USB charger can be used only for battery charging purposes.
Battery chargers cannot be charged.
WARNING - Electric shock
Do not put a finger or a foreign
object (pen, etc.) into a power
outlet and do not touch with a
wet hand. You may receive an
electric shock.
