5. Open the swing gate all the way to ensure clearance of the rear window glass. Lift
the rear window glass.
6. Locate the wire harness and washer hose on the left rear inside corner of the
vehicle.
7. Disconnect the wire harness by its release tab, followed by the washer hose
by pushing the release button on the

8. Lower the rear window glass and close the swing gate.
9. Remove the hard top from the vehicle. Place the hard top on a soft surface to
prevent damage.
NOTE:
To reinstall the hard top, follow the removal
instructions in reverse order.

CAUTION!
The front panel(s) must be positioned
properly to ensure sealing. Improper
installation can cause water to leak into
the vehicle's interior.

The hard top is not designed to carry any
additional loads such as roof racks,
spare tires, building, hunting, or
camping supplies, and/or luggage, etc.
Also, it was not designed as a structural
member of the vehicle, and thus cannot
properly carry any additional loads other
than environmental (rain, snow, etc.).
Do not move your vehicle until the top
has been either fully attached to the
windshield frame and bodyside, or fully
removed.
The removal of the hard top requires four
adults located on each corner. Failure to
follow this caution could damage the
hard top.

reset. If the power rating exceeds approxi-
mately 170 Watts, the power inverter may
have to be reset manually.
Auxiliary Switches — If Equipped
Four auxiliary switches located in the lower
switch bank of the instrument panel can be
used to power various electrical devices. You
have the ability to configure the functionality
of the auxiliary switches via the Uconnect
settings.
All switches can be configured as follows:

Switch type operation: Latching or Momentary

Power source: Battery or Ignition
Ability to hold last state across key cycles:
On or Off Auxiliary Switches
NOTE:
Holding last state conditions are met when
switch type is set to latching and power
source is set to ignition.

Settings” in “Multimedia” in your Owner’s
Manual.

electrical devices refer to your authorized
dealership.
ROOF LUGGAGE RACK — IF
EQUIPPED
NOTE:
Roof rack applications are for Hard Top
models ONLY.
The load carried on the roof, when equipped
with a luggage rack, must not exceed 100 lbs
(45 kg), this includes the weight of the cross -
bars, and it should be uniformly distributed
over the cargo area.
Crossbars should always be used whenever
cargo is placed on the roof rack. Check the
straps frequently to be sure that the load
remains securely attached.
NOTE:
Crossbars can be purchased at an authorized
dealer through Mopar parts.
External racks do not increase the total load
carrying capacity of the vehicle. Be sure that
the total occupant and luggage load inside
the vehicle, plus the load on the luggage
rack, do not exceed the maximum vehicle
load capacity. WARNING!
To avoid serious injury or death:

Do not insert any objects into the receptacles.

Do not touch with wet hands.
Close the lid when not in use.
If this outlet is mishandled, it may cause
an electric shock and failure.

Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) — 2.0L T4
Petrol Versions Only
The Gasoline Particulate Filter is a mechan-
ical filter, integral to the exhaust system,
which physically traps carbon particles present in the exhaust gases of 2.0L T4
petrol engines.
The particulate filter is needed to eliminate
almost all carbon particle emissions in
compliance with current/future regulations
and standards.
Since this filter physically traps particulates,
it must be cleaned (regenerated) during
normal driving operation to remove carbon
particles. The regeneration procedure is
controlled automatically by the engine
control unit according to the filter conditions
and car use conditions.
The following may occur during regeneration:
increased levels of noise vibration and
harshness (NVH) and reduced engine
performance.
Dedicated messages can appear in the
instrument cluster display as a result of the
condition of the filter. Refer to the opening
paragraph of the "Warning Lights And
Messages" section for further information.
WARNING!
Cargo must be securely tied down before
driving your vehicle. Improperly secured
loads can fly off the vehicle, particularly
at high speeds, resulting in personal
injury or property damage. Follow the roof
rack cautions when carrying cargo on your
roof rack.
CAUTION!
To avoid damage to the roof rack and
vehicle, do not exceed the maximum roof
rack load capacity. Always distribute
heavy loads as evenly as possible and
secure the load appropriately.
Long loads, which extend over the wind
-
shield, should be secured to both the
front and rear of the vehicle.
Place a blanket or other protection
between the surface of the roof and the
load.
Travel at reduced speeds and turn
corners carefully when carrying large or
heavy loads on the roof rack. Wind
forces, due to natural causes or nearby
truck traffic, can add sudden upward
loads. It is recommended to not carry
large flat loads, such as wood panels or
surfboards, which may result in damage
to the cargo or your vehicle.
Load should always be secured to cross
bars first, with tie down loops used as
additional securing points if needed. Tie
loops are intended as supplementary tie
down points only. Do not use ratcheting
mechanisms with the tie loops. Check
the straps frequently to be sure that the
load remains securely attached.

The fuel consumption and CO2 emission
figures declared by the manufacturer are deter -
mined on the basis of the type-approval tests
laid down by the applicable standards in the
country where the vehicle is registered.

The type of route, traffic conditions, weather
conditions, driving style, general condition of
the vehicle, trim level/equipment/ accesso -
ries, use of the climate control system,
vehicle load, presence of roof racks and other
situations that adversely affect the aerody -
namics or wind resistance lead to different
fuel consumption values than those
measured. The fuel consumption will only become more
regular after driving the first 1,864 miles
(3,000 km).
