Master Warning Light
This indicator light illuminates:
When there is a malfunction in oper-
ation in any of the following systems:
- Forward Collision-Avoidance
Assist system malfunction
(if equipped)
- Forward Collision-Avoidance
Assist radar blocked (if equipped)
- Blind-Spot Collision Warning
system malfunction (if equipped)
- Blind-Spot Collision Warning radar
blocked (if equipped)
- Lamp malfunction (if equipped)
- High Beam Assist malfunction
(if equipped)
- Smart Cruise Control malfunction
(if equipped)
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
(TPMS) malfunction (if equipped)
To identify the details of the warning,
look at the LCD display.
Low Tyre Pressure
Warning Light
(if equipped)
This warning light illuminates:
Once you turn the ignition switch or
Engine Start/Stop button to the ON
position.
- It illuminates for approximately 3
seconds and then goes off.
When one or more of your tyres
are significantly underinflated.
For more information, refer to
“Tyre Pressure Monitoring
System (TPMS)” in chapter 6.
This warning light remains ON
after blinking for approximately 60
seconds, or repeatedly blinks ON
and OFF in 3 second intervals:
When there is a malfunction with
the TPMS.
In this case, we recommend that
you have the vehicle inspected by
an authorised HYUNDAI dealer as
soon as possible.

Turn Signal Indicator
Light
This indicator light blinks:
When you operate the turn signals.
If any of the following occur, there may
be a malfunction with the turn signal
system.
- The turn signal indicator light illumi-
nates but does not blink
- The turn signal indicator light blinks
rapidly
- The turn signal indicator light does
not illuminate at all
If any of these conditions occur, we
recommend that you have your vehi-
cle inspected by an authorised
HYUNDAI dealer.
Low Beam Indicator
Light (if equipped)
This indicator light illuminates:
When the headlights are on.
High Beam Indicator
Light
This indicator light illuminates:
When the headlamps are on and in
the high beam position.
When the turn signal lever is pulled
into the Flash-to-Pass position.
Light ON Indicator
Light
This indicator light illuminates:
When the tail lights or headlamps
are on.
Rear Fog Indicator
Light (if equipped)
This indicator light illuminates:
When the rear fog lights are on.
Exterior Light Warning
Light (if equipped)
This warning light illuminates:
When one of the exterior bulbs
(headlamp, tail lamp, fog lamp, etc.)
is not operating properly. One of the
bulbs may need to be replaced.
Information
Make sure to replace the burned out
bulb with a new one of the same
wattage rating.

Tyre Pressure
This mode displays information relat-
ed to tyre Pressure.

Master warning mode
This warning light informs the driver

If the warning situation is solved, the
master warning light will be turned
off and the Master Warning icon will
disappear.

High beam operation
To turn on the high beam headlamp,
push the lever away from you. The
lever will return to its original position.
The high beam indicator will light
when the headlamp high beams are
switched on.To turn off the high beam headlamp,
pull the lever towards you. The low
beams will turn on.
To flash the high beam headlamp,
pull the lever towards you, then
release the lever. The high beams
will remain ON as long as you hold
the lever towards you. Do not use high beam when there
are other vehicles approaching
you. Using high beam could
obstruct the other driver's vision.

High Beam Assist (HBA) system
(if equipped)
The High Beam Assist (HBA) is a
system that automatically adjusts the
headlamp range (switches between
high beam and low beam) according
to the brightness of other vehicles
and road conditions.
Operating condition
1.Place the light switch in the AUTO
position.
2.Turn on the high beam by pushing
the lever away from you.
The High Beam Assist ( ) indica-
tor will illuminate.
3.The High Beam Assist (HBA) will
turn on when vehicle speed is
above 45km/h (25mph).
• If the light switch is pushed away
when the High Beam Assist (HBA)
is operating, the High Beam Assist
(HBA) will turn off and the high
beam will be on continuously.

Warning light and message
When the High Beam Assist (HBA)
Assist System is not working proper-
ly, the warning message will come on
for a few second. After the message
disappears, the master warning light
( ) will illuminate.
We recommend that you take your
vehicle to an authorised HYUNDAI
dealer and have the system checked.

1) When the illumination from
an on-coming vehicle or a

examples may include:
When the headlamps of an
oncoming vehicle or the tail

on-coming vehicle are OFF,
but the fog lamps are ON)
2) When the High Beam Assist
camera is adversely affected
by an external condition.
Such examples may include:
When the vehicle's head-

not repaired properly

are not aimed properly

When you replace or reinstall the
windscreen glass or LDW/LKA cam-
era (if equipped), We recommend that
you take your vehicle to an authorised
HYUNDAI dealer and have the sys-
tem checked.

oncoming or front vehicle is
not detected because of
exhaust fume, smoke, fog,
snow, etc.
When the front window is cov-
ered with foreign matters
such as ice, dust, fog, or is
damaged
3) When the forward visibility is
poor. Such examples may
include:
When the headlamps of an
oncoming vehicle or a vehicle
in front is not detected due to
poor outside visibility (smog,
smoke, dust, fog, heavy rain,
snow, etc.)
When the windscreen visibili-
ty is poor
Do not attempt to disassem-
ble the front view camera
without the assistance of an
authorised HYUNDAI dealer
technician.
If camera is removed for any
reason, the system may need
to be re-calibrated. We recom-
mend that the system be
inspected by an authorised
HYUNDAI dealer.
If the windscreen of your vehi-
cle is replaced, most likely the
front view camera will need to
be re-calibrated. If this occurs,
have your vehicle inspected
and have the system re-cali-
brated by an authorised
HYUNDAI dealer.
Be careful that water doesn’t
get into the High Beam Assist
(HBA) unit and do not remove
or damage related parts of the
High Beam Assist (HBA) sys-
tem.
