Delayed starting of the
heating system
The start time can be programmed between 1
minute and 24 hours in advance.
You can memorise up to three different start
times, but only programme a single delayed
start.
To perform a daily start at a fixed time, reprogramme the memorised time each
day.
► Press button 3; the screen comes on.
The - -:- - symbol or the previous memorised
time and the corresponding preset number (1, 2
or 3) are displayed for 10 seconds.
To recall the other preset times, press button 3 several times before the end of
the 10 seconds.
Within 10 seconds, press one of the buttons 1 to
select the desired start time.
The memorisation is confirmed by the
disappearance of the start time, the display of
the preset number (1, 2 or 3) and the lighting of
the screen.
By default, preset times are already
memorised in the system (1 = 06:00, 2 =
16:00, 3 = 22:00). Any change cancels and
replaces the previous preset time.
If the battery is disconnected, the default
preset times will be restored.
Setting the comfort
temperature
► Turn control 1 to select a position between
blue (cold) and red (hot) so as to adjust the
temperature to your requirements.
The OFF control on the "Mono-zone" central control panel switches the
function off.
However, a back-up system will automatically
ventilate the rear circuit, even if the control is
in position 0, to avoid the formation of mist.
Air flow
► Set control 2 to the desired position to
increase or decrease the air flow.
Additional programmable heating
The additional programmable heating gradually
brings the engine to a good temperature to
facilitate its starting.
An built-in clock allows the time of its triggering
to be programmed. The passenger compartment
will warm up faster.
The warming-up of the passenger compartment, de-icing and demisting are
facilitated. The control panel for the programmable
additional heating is located next to the steering
wheel, below the MODE control panel.

Setting the internal clock
time
Set the clock on the control panel before
programming the deferred starting of the heating.
► Press and hold button 3. The screen and time setting indicator lamp light
up.
► Within ten seconds, press one of the setting
buttons 1 until the exact time is displayed: • > to increase the hours, or
• < to decrease the hours.
By holding the button down, the numbers scroll
faster.
► Release button 3.
When the screen switches off, the time is
memorised.
Reading the time
► Press one of the buttons 1.
The time display indicator lamp comes on and
the time is displayed for approximately ten
seconds.
Immediate starting of the
heating system
Before turning on the heating, check that:
– the temperature control knob is in the Hot air
position (red),
– the air flow control knob is in position 2.
► Press button 2.
The screen and the heating cycle indicator lamp
will come on and stay on for the entire operating
time.

3Open storage space is located below the central
console panel.
It provides access to auxiliary sockets (Jack and
USB) dedicated to transferring data to the audio
system.
Depending on equipment, it is also equipped
with a double cup holder and/or a smartphone
holder.
Front seat storage
compartments
A fixed storage tray is located under the driver's
seat.
The seat with variable shock absorption has no storage space. The location under the passenger seat is
dedicated to the storage of the toolbox,
containing the tools to be used when changing a
wheel, a light bulb or towing the vehicle, etc.
To remove the box, turn the control a quarter turn
to unlock, then pull the box forwards.
When putting it back in place, do not forget to
turn the control a quarter turn in the opposite
direction to lock the box in its housing.
Foldable writing table
► Pull or push the top of the table to unfold or
fold it.
The clip is used to hold documents, slips, etc.
To insert or extract a CD, firstly fold the table.
If your vehicle is equipped with a 2-seat front
bench seat and a front passenger airbag, the
table cannot be raised.

Chilled glove box
It is located on the upper part of the dashboard,
passenger side.
The air circulated in the glove box is the same as
that circulated by the air vents.
USB socket
The socket is used only to power or recharge the
connected portable device.
Multifunction support
This can hold a portable device, such as a
smartphone in a vertical position or a tablet in a
horizontal position.
► Pull the top of the support to unfold it.
► Tilt the side lever to unlock the upper and
lower clamps.
► Open the clamps to install the portable
device.
► Lift the side lever to lock the clamps.
Before folding the support, remove the
mobile device by repeating the same
operations.
Push the top of the support to fold it.
Front door pockets
Depending on the country of sale, one of the
door pockets may contain the puncture repair kit.

Support for stowing rail
Supports for securing a stowing rail are available
above the trims, on each side of the vehicle.
Maximum load: 200 kg.
Side trim
The interior sections of the side walls are fitted
with loading protection trims.
12 volt socket
Maximum power: 180 W.
Reading lamps
They are controlled by the switches.
The driver's switch controls both lamps together.
The passenger's switch controls either the
driver's lamp or the passenger's lamp.
Controls, located at the bottom of the
dashboard on the driver's side, allow the
driver to activate/deactivate the passenger's
lamp.
Courtesy lamp
It can be activated by:
– the switches located on the courtesy lamp,
with the ignition on - MAR - ON position,
– the opening or closing of one of the front
doors,
– the locking/unlocking of the vehicle.
It turns off automatically:
– if the switch is not pressed to the right or to
the left,
– in any case after 15 minutes, if the doors
remain open,
– or when the ignition is switched on.
Rear fittings
Stowing rings
Stowing rings are installed on the floor to fix and
secure loads: 8, for vehicles of L1 and L2 length;
10, for vehicles of L3 and L4 length.
Two additional rings are installed on the partition
behind the cab.
Maximum load: 500 kg.
As a safety precaution in case of sharp braking, you are advised to place heavy
objects as far forwards towards the cab as
possible.

Exterior fittings
Protective grille
Depending on the country of sale, a protective
grille, fixed inside the front bumper, protects the
engine parts against loose chippings, etc.
Very cold climate protectors
Depending on the country of sale, protective
foam is present to prevent the penetration of
cold or snow in the upper part of the engine
compartment.
Load stop
On the floor, behind the front seats, a horizontal
partition protects the driver and front passengers
against the risk of load movement.
Ladder-type vertical
partition
Depending on the country of sale, behind the
driver’s seat, a ladder-type vertical partition
protects the driver against the risk of load
movement.
Glass partition
Depending on the country of sale, a glass
partition isolates the cab from the loading area.
You can nevertheless use the control to open/
close its sliding glass.
Torch
If the vehicle is equipped, the magnetic torch is
located at the rear courtesy lamp.
Lighting is installed in the centre of the base of
the torch.
Remove the torch from its base by pressing
the button and then rotating it 90 degrees
downwards.
To turn on the torch, slide the switch forwards.
To change the 4 batteries (Ni-MH type), remove
the protective cover, located on the torch.
To put the torch back in place, engage it in the
notches on the base and rotate it upwards.
With the vehicle stationary and the key
either in the ignition switch or removed,
the charging as well as the lighting of the
torch stops after about 15 minutes.
While driving, the batteries of the torch are
automatically recharged.
Sliding side windows
Depending on version, the vehicle has side
windows that can be opened.
► Pinch both controls, then slide the window.
When driving, the window must be
closed or locked in an intermediate
position.
Do not place long objects that protrude from
the window.

Dynamic stability control
(DSC)
Switching on
The DSC system is activated automatically every
time the vehicle is started.
It comes into operation in the event of a grip or
trajectory problem.
This is indicated by the flashing of this warning lamp on the instrument panel.
Deactivation
This system cannot be deactivated by the driver.
Malfunction
The lighting of this warning lamp, accompanied by an audible signal and
confirmed by a message on the instrument panel
display, indicates a malfunction of the DSC
system.
Have the system checked by a CITROËN dealer
or a qualified workshop.
Anti-slip regulation (ASR)
Deactivation / Reactivation
The ASR system is activated automatically every
time the vehicle is started.
In exceptional conditions (starting a vehicle
which is bogged down, stuck in snow, on soft
ground, etc.), it may be advisable to deactivate
Electronic stability control
(ESC)
Electronic stability control (ESC: Electronic
Stability Control) integrating the following
systems:
– anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic
brake force distribution (EBFD),
– emergency braking assistance (EBA),
– wheel anti-slip regulation (ASR) or traction
control,
– dynamic stability control (DSC).
Definitions
Anti-lock braking system (ABS) and
Electronic brake force distribution
(EBFD)
This system improves the stability and handling
of your vehicle when braking and contributes
towards improved control on bends, in particular
on poor or slippery road surfaces.
ABS prevents wheel locking in the event of
emergency braking.
EBFD manages the braking pressure wheel by
wheel.
Emergency braking assistance (EBA)
In an emergency, this system enables you
to reach the optimum braking pressure more
quickly and therefore reduce the stopping
distance. It is triggered in relation to the speed at which
the brake pedal is depressed. The effect of this
is a reduction in the resistance of the pedal and
an increase in braking efficiency.
Anti-slip regulation (ASR)
The ASR system (also known as Traction
Control) optimises traction in order to limit
wheel slip, by acting on the brakes of the driving
wheels and on the engine. It also improves the
directional stability of the vehicle on acceleration.
Dynamic stability control (DSC)
If there is a difference between the path followed
by the vehicle and that required by the driver, the
DSC monitors each wheel and automatically acts
on the brake of one or more wheels and on the
engine to return the vehicle to the required path,
within the limits of the laws of physics.
Anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake
force distribution (EBD)
If this warning lamp comes on,
accompanied by an audible signal and a
message in an instrument panel screen, it
indicates a fault with the anti-lock braking system
(ABS) which could result in loss of control of the
vehicle when braking.
If these warning lamps come on,
accompanied by a message in the
instrument panel screen, it indicates a fault with
the electronic brake force distribution (EBFD)
system which could result in loss of control of the
vehicle when braking.
You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
In both cases, contact a CITROËN dealer or a
qualified workshop.
For maximum braking efficiency, a
bedding-in period of around 300 miles
(500 kilometres) is needed. During this
period, it is advisable to avoid any sudden,
repeated and prolonged braking.
The ABS does not provide shorter braking distances. On very slippery
surfaces (ice, oil, etc.) the ABS may extend
braking distances.
When changing wheels (tyres and rims),
ensure that these are approved for your
vehicle.
For emergency braking, press the
brake pedal very hard and do not
release it, even on a slipper surface; you
will then be able to continue steering the
vehicle to avoid an obstacle.
After an impact, have these systems checked by a CITROËN dealer or a
qualified workshop.

Engage a gear corresponding to the speed to
prevent the engine stalling.
► To manually deactivate the system, press the
button; the indicator lamp goes out.
The function may be unavailable if the brakes overheat. Wait a few minutes for
them to cool down before trying again.
Malfunction
When a malfunction of the Hill Assist
Descent Control system occurs, this
warning lamp lights up.
Have the system checked by a CITROËN dealer
or a qualified workshop.
Seat belts
Inertia reel
The seat belts are equipped with an inertia reel
which allows the strap length to automatically
adjust to your shape. The seat belt returns to its
storage automatically when it is not used.
The inertia reels are fitted with a device which
automatically locks the strap in the event of a
collision, emergency braking or if the vehicle rolls
over. It can be released by pulling the strap firmly
and then releasing it so that it reels in slightly.
Pyrotechnic pretensioning
This system improves safety in the event of a
frontal or side impact.
Activation/Deactivation
When starting the vehicle, this system is
deactivated.
► Press this button to activate/deactivate the
system.
When the button indicator lamp comes on, the
system is activated.
This system is active up to approximately 19
mph (30 km/h).
Above approximately 19 mph (30 km/h), the
system is automatically deactivated but the
button indicator lamp remains on.
The system is automatically reactivated as soon
as the speed returns below approximately 19
mph (30 km/h).
Malfunction
When a malfunction of the intelligent
traction control system occurs, this
warning lamp lights up.
Have the system checked by a CITROËN dealer
or a qualified workshop.
Load inertia control
The actual total weight of a commercial vehicle
can vary considerably depending on its load.
The centre of gravity of the vehicle can therefore
move in the longitudinal direction and even in
height.
Each of these variations has repercussions
on braking, traction, cornering behaviour and
overturning.
The load inertia control estimates the actual total
weight of the vehicle by analysing its behaviour,
during acceleration and braking phases.
This system then adapts the intervention of the
DSC and ASR systems according to the weight
distribution of the vehicle. In critical situations,
your vehicle therefore remains more safely on its
trajectory.
Hill Assist Descent
Control
Descent assistance system on roads with low
grip (mud, gravel, etc.) or with a steep gradient.
This system reduces the risk of the vehicle
slipping or running out of control as it moves
downhill.
It maintains the vehicle at a constant speed
during a descent by acting independently and
differentially on the brakes.
Activation / Deactivation
When starting the vehicle, the system is
deactivated.
► With the speed below 19 mph (30 km/h),
press this button to activate the system; the
button indicator lamp lights up.
When the vehicle begins its descent, you can
release the accelerator and brake pedals; the
button indicator lamp flashes.
The brake lamps automatically light up when the
function is activated.
If the speed exceeds 19 mph (30 km/h), the
system is automatically deactivated but the
button indicator lamp remains on.
The system is automatically reactivated as soon
as the speed returns below 19 mph (30 km/h).
You can depress the accelerator or brake pedal again at any time.
For the system to activate, the slope
must be greater than 8%.
Do not use the system with the gearbox in
neutral.

enabled when the ignition is on.
Force limiter
This system reduces the pressure of the seat
belt on the chest of the occupant, thus improving
their protection.
In the event of an impact
Depending on the nature and
seriousness of the impacts, the pyrotechnic
device may trigger before and independently
of airbag deployment. Deployment of the
pretensioners is accompanied by a slight
discharge of harmless smoke and a noise,
due to the activation of the pyrotechnic
cartridge incorporated in the system.
In all cases, the airbag warning lamp comes
on.
Following an impact, have the seat belt
system checked, and if necessary replaced,
by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Front seat belts
The driver's seat is fitted with a pyrotechnic
pretensioner and a force limiter.
On versions with a front passenger airbag, the
passenger's seat is also fitted with a pyrotechnic
pretensioner and a force limiter.
The front bench seat is fitted with two seat belts.
If you install a front bench seat as an
accessory, it must be fitted with approved
seat belts.
Seat belts not fastened warning lamp
When the vehicle is started, this warning
lamp comes on, accompanied by an
increasing audible signal, if the driver and/or the
front passenger has not fastened their seat belt.
This alert works equally well for versions with an
individual passenger front seat as for versions
with a two-seat front bench seat.
Height adjustment
► On the driver's side or the side passenger
seat side, squeeze the control with the belt
