Fasten
the
safety
belt
before

All
other
systems
can

restored
to
the
desired
setting.

Concept
In
the
event
of
an
accident,
the
system
can
bring
the
vehicle
to
a
halt
automatically
without
interj
vention
by
the
driver
in
certain
situations.
This
can
reduce
the
risk
of
a
further
collision
and
the
consequences
thereof.
At
standstill
After
coming
to
a
halt,
the
brake
is
released
autoj matically.
Harder
vehicle
braking
In
certain
situations,
it
can
be
necessary
to
bring
the
vehicle
to
a
halt
more
quickly
than
the
Brake Assistant
allows.
To
do
this,
quickly
apply
extra
force
to
the
brake. For
a
brief
period,
the
braking
pressure
will
be
higher
than
the
braking
pressure
that
is
achieved by
the
automatic
braking
function.

ABS

vehicle
maintains

steering
power

Brake
assistant
When
you
apply
the
brakes
rapidly,
this
system
automatically
boosts
the
vehicle
braking
capabilj ity
to
the
furthest

It
reduces
thebraking
distance
to
a
minimum
during
an
emerjgency
stop.
This
system
utilizes
all
of
the
capajbilities
provided

the
Antilock
Brake

Adaptive
brake
assistant

assistant
Concept
This
system
supports
driving
off
on
uphill
grades.
Driving
off
