Dynamic symbol
Dynamic symbol in basic mode.
In the center of the instrument panel is a dynamicsymbol that changes appearance according tothe type of message displayed. The severity ofthe control or warning symbol is indicated by anamber or red marking around the symbol. An ani-mation may be used to change the symbol into alarger image in order to graphically depict thelocation of a problem or to clarify information.

Instrument panel settings
Display settings for the instrument panel can beset via the instrument panel's app menu and viathe center display's Settings menu.

The app menu will open and can be controlledusing the right-side steering wheel keypad.
The app menu can be used to set what informa-tion will be displayed in the instrument panel:
trip computer
media player
phone
navigation system.

Selecting type of information
1.Tap Settings in the center display's Topview.
2. Tap My CarDisplaysDriver DisplayInformation.
3. Select a background:
Show no information in thebackground
Show information for current playingmedia
Show navigation even if no route isset.
Select theme
1.Tap Settings in the center display's Topview.

3. Select a theme (appearance) for the instru-ment panel:

Displaying trip data in theinstrument panel
Data recorded and calculated by the trip com-puter can be displayed on the instrument panel.
This data is stored in a trip computer app. Youcan choose which information the instrumentpanel will display in the app menu.
Open and navigate in the app menu2 using the right-hand steering wheel keypad.

3. Scroll down to the option buttons to choosewhich information to show in the instrumentpanel:
Distance to empty tank
Odometer
Mileage for trip odometer TM, TA or nodisplay of mileage
Current fuel consumption, average fuelconsumption for TM or TA, or no displayof fuel consumption
Tourist (alternative speedometer).
Distance to discharged battery
Select or clear a selection using the O but-ton (4). The change will apply immediately.

The App (application) menu in the instrumentpanel is controlled using the right-side steeringwheel keypad.

Navigating and making selections in the
App menu
1. Navigate among the apps available by press-ing the left/right arrow keys (2).
> Functions for the previous/next app willbe shown in the App menu.
2. Scroll through the functions for the selectedapp using the up or down arrows (3).
3. Confirm or make a selection for the functionby pressing confirm (4).
> The function will be activated and, forsome selections, the App menu will thenclose.
The next time the App menu is opened, the func-tions for the most recently selected app will bedisplayed automatically.

Manual front seats
The power front seats can be adjusted in a num-ber of different ways for optimal comfort andergonomics.
Raise/lower the front edge of the seat cush-
ion* by moving the control up/down.1
Change the length of the seat cushion* bypulling up the lever and moving the cushionforward/backward.
Move the seat forward/backing by lifting thehandle and moving the seat to a suitable dis-tance from the steering wheel and pedals.Check to make sure the seat is securelylocked into place after its setting has beenchanged.
Adjust lumbar support by pressing the button
up/down/forward/rearward2.
Raise/lower the seat by moving the controlup/down.
Change the backrest tilt by turning the knobon the backrest.
WARNING
Do not adjust the seat while driving. Theseat should be adjusted so that the brakepedal can be depressed fully. In addition,position the seat as far rearward as com-fort and control allow.
Check that the seat is securely lockedinto position after adjusting.

Two different positions for the power* seat, doormirrors and head-up display* can be stored usingthe memory buttons. The buttons are located onthe inside of either one or both* front doors.

1. Adjust the seat, door mirrors and head-updisplay to the desired position.
2.Press and hold the M button. The indicatorlight in the button will illuminate.
3.Within three seconds, press and hold the 1or 2 button.
> When the position has been stored in thememory button, an audio signal will soundand the indicator light in the M button willgo out.
If none of the memory buttons are pressed withinthree seconds, the M button will go out and noposition will be stored.
The seats, door mirrors or head-up display mustbe readjusted before a new memory position canbe set.

The settings for the multifunctional seats can beadjusted using either the mutifunction control onthe seat or the center display. The adjustmentsettings are shown in the center display.

The front seat backrests have a massage func-tion. Air-filled cushions provide the massagingaction and a number of settings are available.
The massage function can only be activatedwhen the engine is running.
1. Activate the multifunction control by turning
the control upward/downward. The seatsettings view will appear in the center dis-play.
2.Select Massage in the seat settings view.
3.Select massage settings by tapping the cen-ter display or by moving the cursor up/down
using the multifunction control's upper /
lower buttons. Change a setting in theselected function by tapping the arrows onthe center display or by using the multifunc-
tion control's front /rear buttons.

Depending on the selected equipment level, thelength of the seat cushion can either beadjusted using the multifunction control* on theside of the seat cushion, or manually adjustedusing the control on the front of the seat cush-ion.

Folding down the rear seat
backrests*
The rear seat backrest is divided into two sec-
tions that can be folded down separately5.
WARNING
Adjust the seat and ensure it locks intoposition before driving. Use caution whenadjusting the seat. Uncontrolled or care-less adjustments could lead to injury.
Long objects must always be securelytied down to help prevent injury or dam-age in the event of sudden braking.
Always turn off the engine and apply theparking brake when loading or unloadingthe vehicle.
Put the gear selector in P to help preventthe gear selector from being inadvertentlymoved.
CAUTION
When the backrest is folded down, make surethere are no objects in the rear seat, and theseat belts are not buckled. Otherwise there isa risk of damage to the upholstery.
