922. Instrument cluster
*1: These lights turn on when the engine switch is turned to the “ON” positionto indicate that a system check is being performed. They will turn off after
the engine is started, or after a few seconds. There may be a m alfunction
in a system if the lights do not come on, or if the lights do n ot turn off. Have
the vehicle inspected by your Toyota dealer for details.
*2: The light comes on to indicate a malfunction.
*3: The light flashes to indicate a malfunction.
*4: The light illuminates on the multi-information display.

Side doors

Turning the key unlocks the
driver’s door. Turning the key
again unlocks the other doors.
Vehicles with moon roof:Closes the moon roof (turn
and hold)
Opens the moon roof (turn and hold)

Locks all the doors
Check that the door is securely
locked.
Unlocks all the doors
Pressing the button unlocks the
driver’s door. Pressing the button
again within 3 seconds unlocks the
other doors.
■Operation signals (vehicles with wireless remote control)
A buzzer sounds and the emergency flashers flash to indicate th at the doors
have been locked/unlocked. (Locked: once; Unlocked: twice)
■ Door lock buzzer (vehicles wi th wireless remote control)
If an attempt to lock the doors is made when a door is not full y closed, a
buzzer sounds continuously for 5 seconds. Fully close the door to stop the
buzzer, and lock the vehicle once more.

Operation of each component
A desired driving position can be recalled linked with the unlo cking of
the door.
■Registering procedure
Record your driving position to button “1” or “2” before perfor ming
the following:
Turn the engine switch off and close the driver’s door.
While pressing the button “1”
or “2”, press on the wire-
less remote control until the
signal beeps.
The driving position is recalled
when the driver’s door is
unlocked using the wireless
remote control and the driver’s
door is opened.
To prevent unintended triggering of the alarm, open and close a
door once after a driving position has been recorded. (If a doo r is
not opened within 60 seconds after is pressed, the doors will
be locked again and the alarm will au tomatically be set.)
In case that the alarm is triggered, immediately stop the alarm .

■Cancelation procedure
Turn the engine switch off and close the driver’s door.
While pressing the “SET” button, press on the wireless
remote control until you hear 2 beeps.
■ If the battery is disconnected
The recorded seat positions are erased when the battery is disc onnected.
