The VSC OFF switch can be used to help free a stuck vehicle in surroundi\

The Blind Spot Monitor is a system that has two functions:
• The Blind Spot Monitor function (assists the driver in making the decision when changing lanes)
• The Rear Cross Traffic Alert function (assists the driver when backing up)
The system is designed to use radar sensors to detect vehicles traveling\
in the
Avalon’s blind spot and advises the driver of the vehicles’ presen\
ce via the outside
rear view mirror indicators.

braking function that may apply the vehicle’s brakes if the system de\
tects crossing
vehicles while the Avalon is backing up.
