Warning and indicator lamps
Associated warnings
The illumination of a lamp can be accompanied
by an audible signal and/or a message
displayed in a screen.
Relating the type of alert to the operating status
of the vehicle allows you to determine whether
the situation is normal or a fault has occurred:
refer to the description of each lamp for further
information.
When the ignition is switched on
Certain red or orange warning lamps come on
for a few seconds when the ignition is switched
on. These warning lamps should go off as soon
as the engine is started.
Persistent warning lamp
When the engine is running or the vehicle is
being driven, the illumination of a red or orange
warning lamp indicates a fault that needs
further investigation, using any associated
message and the description of the warning
lamp in the documentation.
Where a warning lamp remains litThe references (1) (2) and (3) in the warning
and indicator lamp description indicate whether
you should contact a qualified professional
in addition to the immediate recommended
actions.
Displayed as symbols, visual indicators
which inform the driver of the occurrence of a
malfunction (warning lamps) or of the operating
status of a system (operation or deactivation
indicator lamps). Certain lamps light up in
two ways (fixed or flashing) and/or in several
colours.

List of warning and indicator lamps

Brakes Fixed. The brake fluid level has dropped
significantly. Carry out (1), then top up with brake fluid that complies
with the manufacturer's recommendations. If the
problem persists, carry out (2).
+ Fixed.
The electronic brake force
distribution (EBFD) system is
faulty. Carry out (1) and then (2).
Parking brake Fixed. The parking brake is applied or
not properly released.

AdBlue® (with 1.6
BlueHDi Euro 6.1) Fixed, on switching on the ignition,

remaining driving range. The remaining driving range is
between 375
miles (600 km) and

miles (2,400 km).Top up the AdBlue® as soon as
possible, or carry out (3).

starting is prevented. The AdBlue
® tank is empty: the
starting prevention system required
by legislation prevents starting of the
engine. To restart the engine, top up the
AdBlue® or carry out (2).
It is essential to add at least 5
litres
of AdBlue
® to its tank.
Overload indicator
Fixed. The weight of the vehicle load
exceeds the maximum authorised
weight.The weight of the vehicle load must
be reduced.
