Unlocking mode can be set in the vehicle personalisation menu in the
Info Display. Two settings are
selectable:
● All doors and load compartment will be unlocked by pressing
( once.
● Only the driver's door and load compartment will be unlocked by
pressing ( once. To unlock all
doors, press ( twice.

Locking
Close doors and load compartment.
Press ).
If the driver's door is ajar, the central
locking system will not work.
Confirmation
Operation of the central locking
system is confirmed by the hazard warning flashers. A precondition is
that the setting is activated in the
vehicle personalisation 3 90.
Electronic key system operation
The electronic key must be outside
the vehicle, within a range of approx. 1 m of the relevant door side.

Press the button on the respective
exterior door handle and pull the
handle.
Unlocking mode can be set in the
vehicle personalisation menu in the
Info Display. Two settings are
selectable:
● All doors and load compartment will be unlocked by pressing thebutton on any exterior handle
once.
● Only the driver's door and load compartment will be unlocked by
pressing the button on the
driver's door exterior handle
once. To unlock all doors, press button twice.
The setting can be changed in the menu Settings in the Info Display.

Disabling keyless unlocking
Keyless unlocking of the doors and
load compartment can be disabled when the vehicle is switched off.
To disable keyless unlocking, press
and hold ) and ( at the same time
for approx. 3 seconds.
After disabling keyless unlocking, the
turn lights flash four times briefly. The
turn lights will flash four times again
when trying to open any door or the
tailgate to indicate that keyless
unlocking is disabled.
Note
When keyless unlocking is disabled, the anti-theft alarm system has to be
disarmed before starting the vehicle.
Enabling keyless unlocking
Keyless unlocking of the doors and
load compartment can be enabled
when the vehicle is switched off.To enable keyless unlocking, press
and hold ) and ( at the same time
for approx. 3 seconds.
After enabling keyless unlocking, the turn lights flash twice briefly.
Locking
Press the button on any exterior door
handle.
All doors and load compartment will
be locked.

The road surface may already be
icy even though the display
indicates a few degrees above
0 °C.
Clock
Date and time are shown in the
Info Display.

Press p and then touch 1.
Select Settings and then select Time
and date to display the respective
submenu.
Auto set
To choose whether time and date are to be set automatically or manually,
select Auto set .
For time and date to be set
automatically, select On - RDS.
For time and date to be set manually, select Off - Manual . If Auto set is set
to Off - Manual , the submenu items
Set time and Set date become
available.
Set time To adjust the time settings, select Set
time .
Touch + or - to adjust the settings.
To select a time mode, select 12 hr or
24 hr format.
If 12 hour format is selected, touch
R or S to adjust AM or PM .
Set date To adjust the date settings, select Set
date .
Touch + or - to adjust the settings.Power outlets
A 12 V power outlet is located in the
centre console.
Do not exceed the maximum power
consumption of 240 W.
With the vehicle off, the power outlet
is deactivated. Additionally, the power
outlet is deactivated in the event of
low vehicle battery voltage.
Electrical accessories that are
connected must comply with the
electromagnetic compatibility
requirements laid down in
DIN VDE 40 839.

accessories, e.g. electrical charging
devices or batteries.
Do not damage the outlets by using
unsuitable plugs.
USB charging ports
Two USB ports are located in the
centre console. These ports can be
used for charging and Infotainment
connection.
External devices 3 125.
Another two USB ports for charging
only are located in the back of the
centre console.
All USB ports provide 2.1 A at 5 V.
Note
The USB ports must always be kept clean and dry.
Inductive charging
9 Warning
Inductive charging can affect the
operation of implanted
pacemakers or other medical
devices. If applicable, seek
medical advice before using the
inductive charging device.9 Warning
Remove any metal objects from
the charging device before
charging a mobile device, as these objects could become very hot.
Qi compatible mobile devices can be
charged inductively.
A protective cover for the mobile
device could have an impact on the
inductive charging.
The vehicle must be switched on, in
service mode or retained power off.
Starting and stopping the vehicle

The operating temperature is −20 °C
to 60 °C for the charging system and
0 °C to 35 °C for the mobile device.

Reconfigurable instrument cluster
The cluster layout can be changed.
Use the steering wheel control to
move between the different display
zones and scroll through the different displays.
There are three display
configurations to choose from:
● Basic configuration displays the
speedometer with a simplified
high voltage battery gauge and
efficiency light.
● Standard configuration displays
the speedometer with a high
voltage battery gauge and
efficiency gauge.
● Enhanced configuration displays
the speedometer with high
voltage battery gauge, efficiency
ring, and power gauge.

1. Move out of the flow of traffic as quickly as possible without
impeding other vehicles.
2. Stop, switch off the vehicle.

Driving while p illuminates could

Electric parking brake is applied

Flashes
Electric parking brake is not fully applied or released. Depress the
brake pedal and attempt to reset the system by first releasing then
applying the electric parking brake. If
m remains flashing, do not drive and
seek the assistance of a workshop.
Electric parking brake fault

Illuminates
Electric parking brake is operating
with degraded performance 3 158.
Flashes
Electric parking brake is in service
mode. Stop vehicle, apply and
release the electric parking brake to
reset.9 Warning
Have the cause of the fault
remedied immediately by a
workshop. Avoid parking on
inclines until the cause of the fault has been remedied.
An error message may be displayed
in the Driver Information Centre

Antilock brake system
(ABS)
u illuminates yellow.
Illuminates for a few seconds after the
vehicle is switched on. The system is ready for operation when the control
indicator extinguishes.
If the control indicator does not go out after a few seconds, or if it illuminates
while driving, there is a fault in the

operational but without ABS
regulation.

Sport mode
3 illuminates when Sport mode
is selected.

Lane keep assist

A fault in the system is present.
Continued driving is possible. Driving

The system is active and is working to assist the driver with directional

system

Illuminates
Tyre pressure loss. Stop immediately

Flashes
Fault in system or tyre without
pressure sensor mounted (e.g. spare wheel). After 60 to 90 seconds the
control indicator illuminates
continuously. Consult a workshop.
