To open the Fuel Filler lid:
1 Press the right edge of the Fuel Filler lid F
2 Pull the Fuel Filler lid out to fully open G
To open the Fuel Cap, turn it counterclockwise H
REMINDER:
The fuel filler lid lock will unlock /open only when driver’s side door is unlocked
Tighten for ONE CLICK to prevent Malfunction
Indicator from illuminating
REMINDERS:
• To open the fuel door, press the right edge of the fuel door

It is normal operation when tightening to hear one click and then when Fuel Cap is released, it clicks back

inspection is recommended for this maintenance schedule depends on fuel quality If there are some important safety matters like fuel flow restriction, surging, loss of power, hard starting problem etc , replace the fuel filter immediately regardless of maintenance schedule and consult an authorized Kia dealer for details E Front /rear differential oil should be changed anytime they have been submerged in water F Inspect for excessive tappet noise and/or engine vibration and adjust if necessary G The drive belt should be replaced when cracks occur or tension is reduced excessively See your Owner’s Manual for more details and complete maintenance information, including severe maintenance schedule.
