Without Advanced Climate Control system:
The Climate Control system is equipped with
an in-cabin microfilter that collects dirt,
pollen, dust, etc. To make sure that the air
conditioner heats, defogs and ventilates
efficiently, replace the filter in accordance
with the maintenance schedule in the vehicle
Owner’s Manual. To replace the filter, it is
recommended you visit an INFINITI retailer.The filter should be replaced if the air flow
decreases significantly or if windows fog up
easily when operating the heater or air
conditioner.
SERVICING HEATER AND AIR
CONDITIONER
The heating and air conditioning system in
your vehicle is charged with a refrigerant
designed with the environment in mind. This
refrigerant will not harm the earth’s ozone
layer. However, special charging equipment
and lubricant are required when servicing the
air conditioner. Using improper refrigerants
or lubricants will cause severe damage to
your Climate Control system. Refer to the
vehicle Owner’s Manual for heating and air
conditioning system refrigerant and lubri-
cant recommendations.
It is recommended you visit an INFINITI retailer to service your environmentally
friendly heater and air conditioning system.
WARNING
The system contains refrigerant under
high pressure. To avoid personal injury,
any air conditioner service should be done
only by an experienced technician with
the proper equipment.
REAR WINDOW AND OUTSIDE
MIRROR DEFROSTER
CAUTION
When cleaning the inner side of the rear
window, be careful not to scratch or
damage the rear window defroster.
To defog/defrost the rear window glass and
outside mirrors, start the engine and push

>. The indicator light on the button will
illuminate. Push the button again to turn off
the defroster.
The defroster will automatically turn off in
approximately 15 minutes.
If the engine is started using the remote start
function (if so equipped) when the outside
air temperature, the interior temperature
and the engine coolant temperature are
low, the rear window glass and outside
mirror defroster may turn on automatically.

Owner’s Manual.

notification and SOS, are dependent upon
the telematics device being in operative
condition, its ability to connect to a wireless
network, compatible wireless network avail- ability, navigation map data and GPS satel-
lite signal receptions, the absence of which
can limit or prevent the ability to reach
Customer Care or receive support. GPS
mapping may not be detailed in all areas or
reflect current road status. Never program
GPS while driving. Only use Remote Engine
Start and Remote Horn features in accor-
dance with any laws, rules or ordinances in
effect in your vehicle’s location.

. Automatic Collision Notification:
The TCU (Telematics Control Unit) gen-
erates a signal automatically to the
INFINITI InTouch
TMServices Response
Center in the case of an accident severe
enough to trigger one of the vehicle’s air
bags. Upon the signal, a Response
Specialist receives the vehicle location
and customer information and notifies the proper authorities in accordance with
established policies and procedures.
. Curfew Alert:
Curfew Alert allows you to monitor the
time and day when your vehicle is driven.
If your vehicle is operated outside of the
pre-determined schedule, you will re-
ceive a notification according to your
preference (email, text message, or auto-
mated phone call).
. Emergency Call:
The Emergency Call feature provides
emergency assistance by connecting to
a Response Specialist. In the event of an
emergency, by push the in–vehicle
to use this feature. The Response Spe-
cialist provides various assistance de-
pending on the situation

Roadside Assistance allows you to re-
ceive assistance from the Roadside Re-
