The favorite and volume switches
are on the back of the steering
wheel.
1. Favorite: When on a radio source, press to select the next
or previous favorite. When on a
media source, press to select
the next or previous track.
2. Volume: Press to increase or decrease the volume.

Cruise Control
J:Press to turn the system on
and off. A white indicator appears in
the instrument cluster when cruise
is turned on.
RES+ : If there is a set speed in
memory, press briefly to resume to
that speed or press and hold to
accelerate. If the cruise control is
already active, use to increase
vehicle speed.

The key that is part of the Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter can
be used for all locks.
Remove the key by pressing the
button on the side of the RKE
transmitter near the bottom and pull
the key out. Never pull the key out
without pressing the button.
See your dealer if a new transmitter
is needed.
If locked out of the vehicle, see

With an active OnStar or connected
service plan, an OnStar Advisor
may remotely unlock the vehicle.

Remote Keyless Entry
(RKE) System

If there is a decrease in the Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) operating
range:
. Check the distance. The
transmitter may be too far from
the vehicle. .
Check the location. Other
vehicles or objects may be
blocking the signal.
. Check the transmitter's battery.
See “Battery Replacement” later
in this section.
. If the transmitter is still not
working correctly, see your
dealer or a qualified technician
for service.
Remote Keyless Entry
(RKE) System Operation
The Keyless Access system allows
for vehicle entry when the Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is
within 1 m (3 ft). See “Keyless
Access Operation” later in this
section.
The RKE transmitter may work up to
60 m (197 ft) away from the vehicle.
Other conditions can affect the
performance of the transmitter. See
Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
System 030.

Controls
Steering Wheel
Adjustment
To adjust the steering wheel:1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel up or down.
3. Pull or push the steering wheel closer or away from you.
4. Pull the lever up to lock the steering wheel in place. Do not adjust the steering wheel
while driving.
Power Tilt and Telescoping
Steering WheelIf equipped, the control is on the left
side of the steering column.

Push the control up or down to
tilt the steering wheel up
or down.
. Push the control forward or
rearward to move the steering
wheel toward the front or rear of
the vehicle.
Do not adjust the steering wheel
while driving.
Steering Wheel Controls

System (GPS) antenna, StabiliTrak/
Electronic Stability Control (ESC),
and vehicle speed information.
The compass system is designed to
operate for a certain number of
miles or degrees of turn before
needing a signal from the GPS
satellites. When the compass
display shows CAL, drive the
vehicle for a short distance in an
open area where it can receive a
GPS signal. The compass system
will automatically determine when a
GPS signal is restored and provide
a heading again.
Clock
Base Radio
The infotainment system controls
are used to access the time and
date settings through the menu
system. SeeOperation0179 on
how to use the menu system.
Setting the Time and Date
When Auto Set is enabled the time
cannot be manually set. 1. Press
{, then touch
SETTINGS.
2. Touch Time and Date, then Set Time or Set Date.
3. Touch + or −to adjust the
value.
4. Touch
RorQto adjust AM or
PM for 12 hour format.

Auto Set
Auto Set requires an active OnStar
or connected service plan.
If auto set is on, the time displayed
on the clock may not update
immediately when driving into a new

Power Outlets
Power Outlets 12-Volt Direct
Current
The vehicle has two 12-volt outlets
that can be used to plug in electrical
equipment, such as a cell phone or
MP3 player. The power outlets are located:

On the center stack below the
climate controls.
. In the rear cargo area.
Lift the cover to access the outlet
and replace when not in use.
There are also charging only USB
ports on the rear of the center
console and in the third row
seating area.
{Warning
Power is always supplied to the
rear cargo power outlet. Do not
leave electrical equipment
plugged in when the vehicle is not
in use because the vehicle could
catch fire and cause injury or
death.

Infotainment Display Controls
Controls show on the infotainment
display when available. When a
function is unavailable, the item may
gray out. When a function is selected, the item may highlight.
Press and hold to rearrange icons
on the screen.
Home Page Features
Press{to go to the Home Page.
Audio : Touch to select AM, FM,
SiriusXM (if equipped), USB/iPod/
Bluetooth Audio, or AUX.
Gallery : Touch to view a picture.
Phone : Touch to activate the
phone features (if equipped). Press
and hold to start a Voice session
with a paired device. See Bluetooth
(Overview) 0192 orBluetooth

Touch to access
supported devices when connected.

Operation
Radio Controls
The infotainment system is operated
by using the center stack controls,
menus shown on the infotainment
display, and steering wheel controls.
Turning the System On or Off
O:Press to turn the radio on.
Press and hold to turn the radio off.

Automatic Switch-Off
If the infotainment system has been
turned on after the ignition is turned
off, the system will turn off
automatically after 10 minutes.
Volume Control
O:Turn to increase or decrease.
Press when the system is on to
mute and unmute the system.
System Settings
Auto Volume
This feature automatically adjusts
the radio volume to compensate for
road and wind noise.
The level of volume compensation
can be selected, or the feature can
be turned off.
Tone Settings
The tone settings can be set for
each radio band and each audio
player source.
Custom Tone Settings
1. Touch SETTINGS on the Home Page. 2. Touch Radio.
3. Touch Tone Settings.
.Bass, Midrange, or Treble:
Touch −or +.
. Fader or Balance: Adjust
the front/rear or left/right
speakers by dragging the
dot in the vehicle image on
the screen.
4. Touch
3to go back to the
source screen.
Software Updates
Over-the-Air Software Updates
If equipped, the infotainment system
can download and install select
software updates over a wireless
connection. The system will prompt
for certain updates to be
downloaded and installed. There is
also an option to check for updates
manually. To manually check for updates,
touch SETTINGS on the Home
Page, followed by Software
Information, and then System
Update. Follow the on-screen
prompts. Steps for downloading and
installing updates may vary by
vehicle.
Downloading Over-the-Air vehicle
software updates requires Internet
connectivity, which can be accessed
through the vehicle’
s built-in OnStar
4G LTE connection, if equipped and
active. If required, data plans are
provided by a third party. Optionally,
a secure Wi-Fi hotspot such as a
compatible mobile device hotspot,
home hotspot or public hotspot can
be used. Applicable data rates may
apply.
