filter Concept
The
exhaust
gas
particulate
filter
collects
soot
particles.
The
soot
particles
are
burned
at
high
temperatures
to
clean
the
exhaust
gas
particuj late
filter
as
necessary.

cleaning
the

may
occur:'xTemporarily,
the
engine
may
run
less
smoothly.'xA
somewhat
higher
engine
speed
is

sary
to
reach
usual
performance.'xA
slight
amount

smoke
coming
from

exhaust

after
the
engine
is
switched

those
caused
by
the
radiator
fan
running,

minutes

After-running

radiator
fan

several

normal

Mobile
communication
devices

vehicle

transmission

Hydroplaning
On
wet
or
slushy
roads,
a
wedge
of
water
canform
between
the
tires
and
road
surface.
This
phenomenon
is
referred
to
as
hydroplaning.
It
is
characterized
by
a
partial
or
complete
loss
of contact
between

tires
and
the
road
surface,
ultimately
undermining
your
ability
to
steer
and
brake
the
vehicle.
