Concept
You
may
react
to
unpleasant
odors
or
pollutants in

immediate
environment
by
temporarily
suspending

supply
of
outside
air.

recirculates

flow
within

increases.

Microfilter/activated-charcoal
filter
The
microfilter
removes
dust
and
pollen
from
the
incoming
air.
The
activated-charcoal
filter
also
removes
gasj eous
pollutants
from
the
outside
air
that
enters
the
vehicle.

combined
filter

during
vehicle maintenance,

and
ice
may

rejmoved
more
easily.
The
system
starts
the
engine

it

a
limited

Safety
information
DANGER
If
the
exhaust
pipe
is
blocked
or
ventilation
is
inj
sufficient,
harmful
exhaust
gases
can
pollute the
area
in
and
around
the
vehicle
or
enter
intothe
vehicle.
The
exhaust
gases
contain
pollujtants
which
are
colorless
and
odorless.
In
enj
closed
areas
or
areas
with
insufficient
ventilaj tion,
exhaust
gases
can
also
accumulate
outside
of
the
vehicle.
There
is
danger
to
life.
Keep
the
exhaust
pipe
free
and
ensure
suffij
cient
ventilation.
Do
not
switch
on
stationary
clij
mate
control
in
enclosed
areas
or
areas
with
inj sufficient
ventilation,
e.g.
in
enclosed
garages.
Warning
When
stationary
climate
control
is
in
operation,
high
temperatures
can
occur
underneath
the
body,
for
instance
caused
by
the
exhaust
gas
system.
If
combustible
materials,
such
as
leaves
or
grass,
come
in
contact
with
hot
parts of
the
exhaust
gas
system,
these
materials
can
ignite.
There
is
a
risk
of
fire.
Make
sure
that
no combustible
materials
can
come
in
contact
with
hot
vehicle
parts
during
stationary
climate
conj
trol
operation,
e.g.
leaves,
grass,
gas,
gasoline,
oil
or
other
combustible
objects.
