Continuingtodriveonrun-flattiresisno
longerpossibleif:
—Thereisvisibledamagetothetires,suchas
cracksinthesidewalls
—Strongvibrationsarefeltwhiledriving,orthe
tirebeginstosmokeduetoastrongbuild-upof
heat
—Thetirehasbeenheavilydamaged,forexample
inanaccident.Thereisariskthatparts ofthe
tiretreadwilldetachanddamageimportant
vehiclecomponents.
—TheElectronicStabilizationControl(ESC)isnot
workingoriscontinuouslyrunning
—Thetirepressuremonitoringsystemisnot

—Ifrun-flattiresareused,theymustbein-
stalledonallfourwheels.Mixingtiretypes
isnotpermitted.
—Ifyouhavetodrivewhenthetirepressureis
tooloworthereisnotirepressure,note the
following:
— Donotdrivefasterthan50mph(80km/h)
becausethisincreasestheriskofanacci-
dent.Observeanylawsspecifictothe
country
whereyouaredriving.
—Avoidfull-throttleacceleration,heavy
braking,andfastcornering,becausethis
increasestheriskofanaccident.
—Thevehiclemaybecomemoredifficultto
control.
—SeeanauthorizedAudidealerorauthor-
izedAudiServiceFacilityforassistanceif
thetireistooheavilydamaged.
— Havethefaultytiresreplacedandtherims
checkedfordamagebyanauthorizedAudi

—Thedriverisresponsibleforthevehicle,for

ingfaultyparts.Therefore,alwaysadjust
