openingorclosingduetosimilarmovements,
suchas whenyouwalkbetweentherearofthe
vehicleandyourgaragedoor.
Theclosingoftheluggagecompartmentlidisin-
dicatedbyawarningsignalandcanbecanceled
bymakingthedescribedmovementagain.
Thefootmovementdoesnotlockthevehicle.

—Thebumperisverydirty,forexampleafterdriv-

cludingthehingeareasandtheupperand
loweredgeoftheluggagecompartmentlid.
—Neverdrivewiththeluggagecompartment
lidajaroropen,becausepoisonousgases
canenterthevehicleinteriorandcreatethe
riskofasphyxiation.
—Ifthereisaluggagerack(suchasabicycle
rack)ontheluggagecompartmentlid,the

couldclosebyitselfifopenduetotheextra
