profiletiresofferawidertreadsurfaceanda
largerrimdiameterwithshortertiresidewalls.
Thisresultsinanagiledrivingstyle.However,it
mayreducethelevelofcomfortandincrease
roadnoise whendrivingonroadsinpoorcondi-
tion.
Low-profiletirescanbecomedamagedmore
quicklythanstandardtireswhendrivingover
largebumps,potholes,manholecovers,and
curbs.Therefore,itisparticularlyimportantto
maintainthecorrecttirepressure>page334.
Toreducetheriskofdamagetothetiresand
rims,driveverycarefullyonpoorroads.
