Low engine oil pressure warning light
Indicates that the engine oil pressure is too low.
Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place and con-
tact any authorized Toyota retailer or Toyota autho-
rized repairer, or any reliable repairer.

(Red warning light flashers or comes on)

High engine coolant temperature warning light
Indicates that the engine is overheating.
As the coolant temperature rises, it changes from flashing
to steady on.

Hybrid system warning light (warning buzzer)
Indicates a malfunction in the hybrid system.
Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place and con-
tact any authorized Toyota retailer or Toyota autho-
rized repairer, or any reliable repairer.
Malfunction indicator lamp
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The hybrid system;
• The hybrid transmission control system;
• The electronic engine control system;
• The electronic throttle control system; or
• The emission control system.
Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized Toyota
retailer or Toyota authorized repairer, or any reliable
repairer immediately.
SRS warning light
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The SRS airbag system; or
• The seat belt pretensioner system.

If your vehicle overheats
●Vehicles with monochrome display: The high engine coolant tem-
perature warning light ( P. 518) comes on or flashes, or a loss of
hybrid system power is experienced. (For example, the vehicle
speed does not increase.)
Vehicles with color display:
• The needle of the engine coolant temperature gauge ( P. 1 1 7 )
enters the red zone or a loss of hybrid system power is experi-
enced.
(For example, the vehicle speed does not increase.)
• The warning message indicating overheat is shown on the multi-
information display. ( P. 531)
● Vehicles with monochrome display: If the hybrid system overheat
warning light ( P. 522) comes on.
Vehicles with color display: If the warning message indicating over-
heat is shown on the multi-information display. ( P. 535)
● Steam comes out from under the hood.
