In the event of an AdBlue® breakdown,
confirmed by the message "Add AdBlue:
Starting impossible", you must top up with
at least 5
litres.
Never pour AdBlue
® into the Diesel fuel
tank.
For the specifics associated with the
access configuration for the AdBlue
® tank
(via the boot or via the fuel filler flap), refer
to the descriptions given in detail further
on.
If any AdBlue
® is splashed, or if there are
any spillages on the side of the body, rinse
immediately with cold water or wipe with
a
damp cloth.
If the fluid has crystallised, clean it off
using a
sponge and hot water.
Important: when topping up after
a breakdown due to running out
of AdBlue, you must wait for at least
5
minutes before switching on the ignition
again, without opening the driver's
door, unlocking the vehicle or inser ting
the key in the switch.
Switch on the ignition, then after
a
minimum of 10 seconds, start the engine.
F Switch off the ignition and remove the key from the switch to switch off the engine.
Access through the boot

F Raise the boot carpet then, depending on
equipment, lift out the spare wheel and/or
the storage box.

ithout pressing, turn the black cap
a
quarter turn anti-clockwise and lift it off.

urn the blue cap 1/6 of a turn anti-
clockwise.

ift off the cap.

Refilling
F Obtain an AdBlue® container or bottle. After
first checking the use-by date, read the
instructions on the label carefully before
pouring the contents of the container or
bottle into your vehicle's AdBlue tank.

ith the vehicle unlocked and the fuel filler
flap open, turn the blue cap of the AdBlue
®
tank 1/6
of a
turn anti-clockwise.

R
elease the blue cap.

I
nsert the AdBlue
® pump nozzle and refill
the tank until the nozzle stops automatically.

F Refit the blue cap to the tank filler and turn it
1/6 of a turn clockwise, to its stop.

lose the fuel filler flap.
Do not dispose of AdBlue
® bottles or
containers in the household waste.
Place them in a
suitable container or
take them to your dealer.

epending on equipment, return the spare
wheel and/or the storage box to the bottom
of the boot.

efit the boot carpet and close the tailgate.

o avoid over flowing the AdBlue
® tank,
it is recommended:

o top up between 10

litres
using AdBlue
® containers.

f filling in a
ser vice station, stop
after the first automatic shut-off of
the nozzle.

f your vehicle's AdBlue
® tank is
completely empty – which is confirmed
by the alert messages and the
impossibility of starting the engine –
you must add at least 5
litres.
After refilling
Through the boot (1.6 BlueHDi

F Refit the blue cap to the tank filler and turn it
1/6 of a turn clockwise, to its stop.

efit the black cap and turn it a quarter of
a
turn clockwise without pressing. Ensure
that the indicator on the cap lines up with
the indicator on the support.
