Instrument Display pr ov ides information on th e
re maining time or dis ta nce be fo re th e next
service due date.
Yo u can hide th is service message using th e
back button on th e left-hand side of th e st eering
wheel.
Yo u can obtain fur th er information concerning
th e servicing of yo ur ve hicle from a qu alified
specialist wo rk shop, e.g. an authorized
Mercedes-Benz Center.
Displaying th e service due da te
On-board computer:

Battery disconnection periods
The AS SY ST PLUS service inter va l display
can only calculate th e service due da te when
th e bat te ry is connected.

Obser ve th e fo llowing information:
Information on cleaning and car eA vo iding ve hicle damage
Seat belts
Clean with wa rm wate r and soap solution. R
Do not use ch emical cleaning agents. R
Do not dry seat belts by heating th em to ove r 17 6 °F
(80 °C) or ex posing th em to direct sunlight.
Display
Clean th e sur fa ce carefully wi th a mic ro fi ber clo th and
TFT/LCD display cleaner. R
Swit ch off th e display and allow to cool.R
Do not use any ot her cleaning products.
Plastic trim R
Clean with a damp microfiber clo th .R
If th e trim is ve ry dirty: use a cleaning agent re commen‐
ded by Mercedes-Benz. R
Do not apply st ic ke rs , fi lms et c.R
Do not allow cosmetics, insect re pellent or sun cream to
come in contact wi th th e plastic trim.

Clean with a brush or dry shampoo.
Carpet
Use carpet and te xtile cleaning agents re commended by

by means of a tire pressu re sensor.
New tire pressure sensor, e.g. in winter tires, are
automatically ta ught-in th e fi rs t time th ey are
driven.

tire te mp erature is exc essive, a wa rn ing will be

It is th e driver's re sponsibility to set th e tire
pressure to th e re commended cold tire pressure
suitable fo r th e operating situation. Set th e tire
pressure fo r cold tires using a tire pressu re
ga uge. No te th at th e cor re ct tire pressure fo r th e
cur re nt operating situation mu st fi rs t be tau ght-
in to th e tire pressure monitoring sy st em.
In most cases, th e tire pressure monitoring sys‐
te m will au to matically update th e new re fe re nce va lues af te r yo u ha ve ch anged th e tire pressure.
Yo u can, ho we ve r, also update th e re fe re nce va l‐
ues by re st arting th e tire pressure monitoring
sy st em manually ( →

Sy st em limitations
The sy st em may be impaired or may not function
in th e fo llowing situations: R
If th e tire pressure is set incor re ctly.R
If th ere is a sudden pressure loss caused, fo r
ex ample by a fo re ign object penetrating th e
tire. R
If th ere is a malfunction caused by ano th er
ra dio signal source.
