On ve hicles with a panoramic sliding sunroof,
ins ta lling an antenna to th e front or re ar ro of
area is not permitted. On th e re ar fe nde rs , it is re commended th at yo u
position th e antenna on th e side of th e ve hicle
closest to th e center of th e ro ad.
Use Te ch nical Specification ISO/TS 21 609 (Road
Ve hicles – "EMC guidelines fo r ins ta llation of
af te rm ar ke t ra dio frequency transmitting equip‐
ment") when re trofitting two-w ay ra dios. Comply
with th e legal re qu irements fo r de tac hable parts.
If yo ur ve hicle has ins ta llations fo r two-w ay ra dio
equipment, use th e po we r supp ly or antenna
connections intended fo r use with th e basic wir‐
ing. Obser ve th e manufacturer's supplements
when ins ta lling.
