transpo rting loads:
R neverexc eed the permissible gross mass or

ble and as low down in the load compart‐
ment as possible.

edge of the seat backrests.
R always place the load against the backrests
of the front seats or rear seats.
R always place the load behind unoccupied
seats if possible.
R secure the load using the tie-down eyes and
distribute the load evenly. R
use tie-down eyes and fastening components

th e load.

R insert the seat belts into seat belt buckles of
th e opposite seat belt in a diagonal pattern.
R secure the load with suf ficiently tear-resist‐
ant and wear-resis tant lashing ma terial.
