RC350/RC300 (vehicles without Adapti ve Variable Suspension System)
Normal mode
Provides an optimal balance of fuel ec onomy, quietness, and dynamic perfor-
mance. Suitable for city driving. Press the switch to change the driving mode to normal mode when Eco drive mode or
sport mode is selected.
Eco drive mode
Helps the driver accelerate in an eco-fr iendly manner and improve fuel econ-
omy through moderate throttle charact eristics and by controlling the opera-
tion of the air conditioning system (heating/cooling). When not in Eco drive mode, if the driving mode select switch is tu rned to the left, the
Eco drive mode indicator will come on.
Sport mode
Controls the transmission and engine to provide quick, powerful acceleration.
This mode also changes the steering feel, making it suitable for when agile
driving response is desired, such as wh en driving on roads with many curves.When not in sport mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the right, the
“SPORT” indicator will comes on.Driving mode select switch The driving modes can be selected to suit driving condition.

sion and engine. Suitable for sportier driving. When in SPORT S mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the right,

tion. Also, gear shift timing is controlle d to suit sporty driving, making this
mode is suitable for when agile drivin g response is desired, such as when
driving on roads with many curves. When not in SPORT S mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the
right, the “SPORT S” indicator will come on.
•SPORT S+ mode
Provides earlier downshift timing than SPORT S mode in order to maintain
a high engine speed and provides faster gear changes. This mode also
changes the steering feel, suspension control and VDIM control, making it
suitable for powerful sporty driving. When in SPORT S mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the right,
the “SPORT S+” indicator will come on. Function Setting

Operation of the air conditioning system in Eco drive mode
Eco drive mode controls the heating/cooling operations and fan speed of the air condi-
tioning system to enhance fuel efficiency (  P. 333). To improve air conditioning perfor-
mance, adjust the fan speed or turn off Eco drive mode.■
Automatic deactivation of sport mode and custom mode
If the engine switch is turned off after driving in sport mode or custom mode, the drive
mode will be changed to normal mode. ■
Driving mode pop-up display (veh icles with a 10.3-inch display)
When the driving mode is changed, the sele cted driving mode will be temporarily dis-

Vehicles with a 10.3-inch display
“MAP” button
*Press this button to display the vehicle’s current position.
“MENU” button Press to display th e “Menu” screen. (  P. 330)
Back button Press to display the previous screen.
Touchpad Slide your finger on the touchpad and move the pointer to select a function, letter and
screen button.
Press the touchpad to enter the selected function, letter or screen button. Certain fin-
ger movements on the touchpad can perform functions, such as changing map scal-
ings and scrolling list screens.
Sub function button When is displayed on the screen, a functi on screen assigned to the screen can be
displayed.
