Press “∧” on to increase the temperature and “ ∨” to decrease the
temperature.

The air conditioning system will operate, an d air outlets and fan speed will be adjusted
automatically.
“AUTO” will be displayed on the control panel.
Adjust the temperature setting.
When the rear seat heaters are set to “AUTO” mode, the system is operated automat-
ically according to th e set temperature, outside temperature, etc.
To stop the operation, press the “OFF” button.
■Location of air outlets
The air outlets and air volume
changes according to the selected

■Rear control panel illumination off function To prevent inadvertent operation, the buttons on
the rear armrest can be locked. Press
until you hear a beep to lock the buttons. Press-
ing again until you hear a beep will
release the lock.
The indicator appears on the display when the
buttons are locked.
Control panel illumination on the rear armrest
can be turned off. Pr ess until you hear a
beep to turn the illumination off. Pressing
again until you hear a beep will turn the illumina-
tion on.

■To prevent battery discharge
Do not leave the air conditioni ng system on longer than necessary when the engine is
off.

Heated steering wheel∗/seat heaters∗/seat ventilators∗
Turns the heated steering wheel on/off
The indicator light comes on when the
heater is operating.
●The heated steering wheel can be used when the engine switch is in IGNITION ON
mode.
●The heated steering wheel will automati cally turn off after about 30 minutes.
∗: If equipped
Heated steering wheel and seat heaters heat the side grips of the steering
wheel and seats, respectively. Seat ventilators maintain good airflow by blow-
ing air from the seats.
WARNING
●Care should be taken to prevent injury if anyone in the following categories comes in
contact with the steering wheel or seats when the heater is on:
• Babies, small children, the elderly, the sick and the physically challenged
• Persons with sensitive skin
• Persons who are fatigued
• Persons who have taken alcohol or drugs that induce sleep (sleeping drugs, cold
remedies, etc.)
●Observe the following precautions to pr event the minor burns or overheating:
• Do not cover the seat with a blanket or cushion when using the seat heater.
• Do not use seat heater more than necessary.
NOTICE
●To prevent damage to the seat heaters/seat ventilators, do not put heavy objects that
have an uneven surface on the seat and do not stick sharp objects (needles, nails, etc.)
into the seat.
●To prevent battery discharge, do not us e the functions when the engine is off.

Seat heater switches
The indicator light (yellow) on the switch comes on when the seat heater is operating.
Seat ventilator switches (front seats only)
The indicator light (green) on the switch co mes on when the seat ventilator is operat-
ing.
Level indicator lights
The seat heater temperature level or the seat ventilator fan speed level (for front seats
only) is displayed.

■Automatic operation of the seat heater during Eco drive mode
If the driving mode select swit ch is switched to Eco drive mo de in cold temperatures, the
seat heater may be automatically oper ated to assist heating performance.
■Automatic operation during S-FLOW mode
The front seat heater and ventilator or the re ar seat heater may automatically turn off
when S-FLOW mode is turned on during automatic mode. (→P. 309)
■Button lock function (vehicle s with rear control panel)
To prevent inadvertent operation, some bu ttons on the rear armrest can be locked.

When the rear control panel switch cannot be operated even though the button lock
