REARVIEW CAMERA (IF EQUIPPED)
❈ The actual rear view in the vehicle may dif-
fer from the illustration. The rearview camera will activate
when the back-up light is ON with the
ignition switch ON and the shift lever
in the R (Reverse) position. This system is a supplemental sys-
tem that shows behind the vehicle
through the navigation monitor or
audio display whilst backing-up. ❈

always check the inside/out-
side rearview mirror and the
area behind the vehicle before
and whilst backing up becausethere is a dead zone that can't

Power outletThe power outlet is designed to pro-
vide power for mobile telephones or
other devices designed to operate
with vehicle electrical systems. The
devices should draw less than 10
amps with the engine running.
CAUTION
Use power outlet only when
the engine is running andremove the accessory plugafter use. Using the accessoryplug for prolonged periods of time with the engine off couldcause the battery to discharge.
Only use 12V electric acces- sories which are less than 10Ain electric capacity.
Adjust the air-conditioner or heater to the lowest operatinglevel when using the poweroutlet.

If you install an aftermarket HID
head lamp, your vehicle’s audio and
electronic device may malfunction.Antenna
Pole type antenna (if equipped)
Your car uses a roof antenna to
receive both AM and FM broadcast
signals. This antenna is a removable
type. To remove the antenna, turn it
counterclockwise. To install the
antenna, turn it clockwise.
Shark fin antenna (if equipped)
The shark fin antenna will receive the
transmit data.

• Before entering a place with a low height clearance or a carwash, remove the antenna by rotating it counterclockwise. Ifnot, the antenna may be dam-aged.
When reinstalling your anten- na, it is important that it isfully tightened and adjusted tothe upright position to ensureproper reception. But it could be removed when parking thevehicle or when loading cargoon the roof rack.
When cargo is loaded on the roof rack, do not place thecargo near the antenna pole toensure proper reception.

Audio remote control (if equipped)
The steering wheel audio remote
control button is installed to promote
safe driving.VOL (+/ -) (1)
• Push up the lever to increase vol-ume.
Push down the lever to decrease volume.
SEEK ( / ) (2)
The SEEK/PRESET button has dif-
ferent functions base on the system
mode. For the following functions the
button should be pressed for 0.8 sec-
onds or more.
RADIO mode
It will function as the AUTO SEEK
select button.
CDP mode
It will function as the FF/REW button.
If the SEEK button is pressed for less
than 0.8 second, it will work as fol-
lows in each mode. RADIO mode
It will function as the PRESET STA-
TION select buttons.
CDP mode
It will function as the TRACK
UP/DOWN button.
Detailed information for audio control
buttons are described in the following
pages in this chapter.
MODE (3)
Press the button to select Radio, CD
(compact disc), AUX or USB.
MUTE (4)
Press the MUTE button to cancel
the sound.
Press the MUTE button again to activate the sound.
CAUTION
Do not operate the audio remote
control buttons simultaneously.
