USB (Universal Serial Bus) CON-
NECTION PORT
Connecting USB memory device
WARNING
Do not connect, disconnect or operate the
USB memory device while driving. Doing
so can be a distraction. If distracted, you
could lose control of your vehicle and
cause an accident or serious injury.
CAUTION
.Do not force the USB memory device
into the USB connection port. Insert-
ing the USB memory device tilted or
upside down into the port may da-
mage the port. Make sure that the
USB memory device is connected
correctly to the USB connection port.
. Do not grab the USB connection port
cover (if so equipped) when pulling
the USB memory device out of the
port. This could damage the port and
the cover.
. Do not leave the USB cable in a place
where it can be pulled unintentionally. Pulling the cable may damage the
port.
Refer to your device manufacturer’s owner
information regarding the proper use and
care of the device.
When compatible storage devices are
plugged into the jack, compatible audio files
on the storage devices can be played
through the vehicle’s audio system.

Activation and playing:
USB memory device mode can also be
activated from the audio source list and the
audio source bar by the touch panel opera-
tion or by pushing.

Scanning:

memory device. While scanning, the USB
memory device will play the first 10 seconds
of each track and move on to the next track.
Touching [Scan] or pushing (if so
equipped) again within the 10 seconds will stop scanning.
Changing play mode:

the play mode.

pushing the button can also change the play

Connecting iPod®
WARNING

iPod® shows an INFINITI or Accessory
Attached screen when the connection is
completed. When the iPod® is connected
to the vehicle, the iPod® music library can
only be operated using the vehicle audio
controls.

tion port will activate the iPod® mode.

BLUETOOTH® STREAMING
AUDIO
Your vehicle is equipped with Bluetooth®
streaming audio.
If you have a compatible Bluetooth® device
with streaming audio (A2DP profile), you
can set up a wireless connection between
your Bluetooth® device and the in-vehicle
audio system. This connection allows you to
listen to the audio from the Bluetooth®
device using your vehicle speakers. It may
also allow basic control of the device for
playing and skipping audio files using the
AVRCP Bluetooth® profile. Not all Blue-
tooth® devices have the same level of
controls for AVRCP. Please consult the
manual for your Bluetooth® device for more
details.
Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) and the Bluetooth®
functions share the same frequency band
(2.4 GHz). Using the Bluetooth® and the
wireless LAN functions at the same time
may slow down or disconnect the commu-
nication and cause undesired noise. It is
recommended that you turn off the wireless
LAN (Wi-Fi) when using the Bluetooth®
functions.
Connecting Bluetooth® streaming
