The coolant level must be checked
when the engine is cold and must
range between the
MIN and MAX marks on the reservoir.
A 50-50 mixture of PARAFLU
UPand
distilled water gives freeze protection
up to –35°C.
When the vehicle is used in particularly
harsh weather conditions, we
recommend using a 60% mixture of
PARAFLU
UPand 40% of demineralised
water.
CHECKING LEVELS

Check the engine oil level a few
minutes (about five) after the engine
has stopped, with the car parked on
level ground.
The oil level must be within the MIN
and MAX marks on the dipstick.
NOTE
The dipstick is integrated in the engine
oil cap for 0.9 TwinAir 60 HP*, 65 HP,
80 HP*, 85 HP and 105 HP versions.
❒ The range between the MIN and
MAX marks corresponds to about 1
litre of oil.
❒ If the level of the oil is close to or
below the MIN mark, add oil via the
filler fitting until the MAX mark is
reached.
❒ The oil level must never exceed the
MAX mark.
❒ The maximum engine oil
consumption is usually 400 grams
every 1000 km.

Use a mixture of water and
PETRONAS DURANCE
SC35 fluid, in the following
concentrations:
❒ 30% PETRONAS DURANCE
SC35 and 70% water in summer.
❒ 50% PETRONAS DURANCE
SC35 and 50% water in winter.

The fluid level in the reservoir must not
exceed the MAX mark.
IMPORTANT Brake fluid is
hygroscopic (i.e. it absorbs moisture).
For this reason, if the vehicle is mainly
used in areas with a high degree of
atmospheric humidity, the fluid should
be replaced at more frequent intervals
than specified in the
“Scheduled Servicing Plan”.

1) KEYS - REMOTE CONTROL
Used batteries should be disposed of, as specified by law, in
the special containers, otherwise take them to a Fiat
Dealership, which will deal with their disposal.
2) CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM
The system uses R1234yf coolant, which is compatible with
the laws in force in the countries where the vehicle is sold.
When charging, only use the gas indicated on the plate in the
engine compartment. The use of other coolants affects the
efficiency and condition of the system. The lubricant used for
the compressor is also strictly linked to the refrigerant gas type,
refer to the Fiat Dealership.
3) SERVICING - CHECKING FLUID LEVELS
• Used engine oil and oil filters contain substances which are
harmful to the environment. To change the oil and filters, we
advise you to contact a Fiat Dealership.
• Used transmission fluid contains substances that are harmful
to the environment. It is advisable to have the oil changed by a
Fiat Dealership where it will be disposed of respecting the
environment and according to legal requirements.
•Batteries contain substances which are very dangerous for the
environment. It is advisable to contact a Fiat Dealership for
battery replacement.

4) MAINTENANCE - BODYWORK
Detergents pollute the environment. Only wash your vehicle in
areas equipped to collect and treat wastewater from this type of
activity.
